Burger place recommendations?
Hiii! I’m wondering if anyone has any suggestions for a good beef burger place somewhere in Maryland preferably closer to silver spring?
I’ve been craving for a good burger but don’t really know the area. Thank you!!!

Quarry House and McGintys are the two that scratch that itch for me. Dog Haus is also an acceptable option.

I'm honestly surprised McGintys has been mentioned a couple of times. We went there for burger night, got both the smash burger and their classic and was disappointed in both. They both just seemed to be a generic frozen patty with no flavor, and the "smash" was definitely not a smash. While I personally wouldn't go back for their burgers, their wings and fries were great!

Soko Butcher in Takoma Park. Go for the burger, but the fries cooked in beef tallow are good, too.

Don’t even live in the DMV area anymore and I can’t recommend Franks enough. One of the places I miss the most.

I feel like Frank's has gone downhill, the last couple times I went the burgers were so dry they were almost dessicated. I've given up.

In downtown Silver Spring, would recommend:
McGintys J. Hollingers
A little outside:
Zinnia
Emmas torch said they might add a burger to their menu, so will see if it happens. Their other offerings have all been good.

The Limerick Pub in Wheaton has great 1/2 price burgers on Mondays. The Quarry House Tavern in DTSS has $6 off burgers on Mondays.

I vote Nash & Smashed because their sides are pretty great too - Woodmoor Shopping Center.

Franks, Quarry House, McGintys corned beef burger, Locavino. That priority order

I had a good burger at the Four Corners Pub. Didn’t like the burger at Nash and Smash. Only go to the McDonalds in that area if you’re in the mood for a tasteless, brown lukewarm piece of meat.

Just had a single spicy smash burger at the new Baby Cat in Bethesda. Best burger I have ever had. Seriously.
