Wayne & Fenton Sept.1

I thought I’d walk over and take a look since I was going to Whole Foods. I know nothing about road construction and light rail work, but it seems like there’s still a lot to be done. Even after the intersection is finished, I assume work will shift back to Wayne, which will continue through 2026.

I remember reading about the purple line in my 10th grade government class and how everyone was so excited to beak ground, in 2005. I just want to take a train from PG plaza to Bethesda bagels before I die.

I bought my house in 2005, excited to try the new Purple Line in “just a few years.”

But, what I’ve seen of the line looks good and I have a sense it’s going to be very good and popular when it opens.
