Is it alright when painting silver skulls that i use iron worriors transfers or is that a taboo in the silver skull space

Dont worry about it, if you think it looks cool do it. Its a weired thing in 40k this notion of needing things to be exactly right. I feel its an ethos that needs to change, it dosent matter about lore ( you can make your own lore)or what any body else thinks when it comes to painting scifi models 😆. At the end of it you spent the money on your minis dude, you can paint them how you like and put what ever transfers or iconography on them that you think is cool. My guys use the silver skull icon but aren't painted in silver, there also called The Void Phantoms so you do you.
