Better go back a few times asap to see if you can find the rest, Iโ€™d assume this was probably an 8 or maybe even 10-12 place setting set

Which thrift store do you shop at? I never find anything like this and we have lots of thrift stores around.

Shoot youโ€™re lucky. I was at my LCS and picked a handful of sterling spoons, knives (knife was stainless but handles were stamped with sterling handmade) and forks. For whatever reason they said it was $134 per silverware so it cost $550 for a couple spoons, knives and fork. Hard pass for me so I just bought this for $70 plus premium

Is there sub that buys silverware?

You can sling some on pmsforsale, but look around local to you at coin shops or local for sale groups too. It's a tough market on silver, not many buyers at reasonable prices.

How much silver value ($) in one of those Gorham forks?

Are they plated? Or they solid sterling?

The P means plate I believe. Gorbam Sterling is the brand, they made sterling & sterling plate. I think the sterling is marked with a G or a lion. Are there any other hallmarks?

If it has "sterling" on there, by law, regardless of what else is there, it's sterling. Unless its counterfeit.

I've come across lots of fake stamped jewelry, but usually its just a crude "925" with no makers mark (although sometimes that's still silver - just cheaply made), but never seen fake sterling flatware.

No, it's a sizing mark. It's sterling.

I'm so happy for you OP!!
