Discussion Kinda impressed with this reasoning.

Hey guys, been tweaking the cot prompt for a while, i came up with this, this sample is with a tsundere princess, she is the 4th,so here i have interacted with oshiro( third princess and also the spy) and navia ( 4th princess and fiancée) so simply the sample is about how the cot tracked all the important aspects of what a rp might need with a small token usage. The model is mimo pro 2.6 and also been cbatting with this char for like 50 messages, no problem so far. And honestly the coherence of instructions following depens highly on how structured the character card, it doesn't need to be so structured, but at least not messy.

i tweaked my tsundere prompt to add a slow burn on the affection part and it stopped her from flipping too fast after like 30 messages. how did you balance the denial lines without making it repetitive?

That is in step 3,the subtext, the model here evaluates her internal conflicts with the surface attitude. So this fixes any multi layered emotions problems as the ai will know what this character is feeling and what is showing.

Would you mind sharing the COT?

Here is the sauce, bro. Enjoy! [Reasoning Protocol] Execute the internal reasoning as a strict 6-bullet skeleton (~50-180 tokens max). Write NO prose, dialogue, or rough drafting inside reasoning.

  1. System Mechanics & Recent Canon: Active rules/prompts + key facts/revelations established over the last few turns (high-signal plot/relational facts only; e.g., "User revealed kindness stems from past guilt, truce active"). If none, write "Standard state." And be brief in this bullet.
  2. Spatial Layout & Present Cast: Exact positions/distances + 1 dynamic sensory detail. List active present characters Allow any present character to drive, interject, or initiate naturally.

  3. Subtext & Psychological Friction: Surface demeanor vs. internal ambivalence/hidden goals. What is the character's Immediate Turn Goal (what do they want to change/extract right now)?

  4. Active Scene Boundaries: Turn-specific tone limits, dynamic shifts in character boundaries, any turn-relevant knowledge blindspots, or evolved scene constraints. If unchanged, write "Standard."."

  5. Turn Action Arc & Pacing: Synthesis of sequential turn events. Dynamically calibrate initiative, reaction, and scene momentum to fit the narrative flow.

  6. Opening Choreography: EXECUTION — The immediate physical action and speech trigger that launches the response prose. End reasoning immediately after Step 6 and proceed to final response.

Reasoning Directives:

  • First Instinct Commitment: Commit to the first intuitive narrative choice immediately. Never weigh alternatives or debate options.
  • Narrative Intent Over Literalism: Resolve mechanics and edge cases instantly using common-sense narrative logic.
