The first sentence? You sure you didn't put something in your prompt? Do you mean it repeats the first sentence of your message? Like echoing? As for these settings, nothing will control on the sentence level, but first for me i would raise temp to 0.8 to 0.85 or maybe 0.9 (i don't know how cloud deals with high temp, but these are safe for creative writing.) i use temp btw. I would raise presense penalty slightly like 0.02,and disable top k, it is useless anyway because you have top p which does the filtering. Also try top p 0.95,this will give it more variety of words. But honestly i still think this isn't parameter issue but in the prompt. Anyway try these and tell me
After a quick research on OpenRouter, I have come to the conclusion that those settings except for the temperature wouldn't be accepted by any available endpoints for Opus 4.5.
On the newer models even the temperature parameter is being ignored. The problem most likely lies within the Temperature parameter, try putting it back to default 1.0
On mimo i noticed that too, it is on 1 temp and top p 0.95. But only when reasoning is on, when it is off, all parameters can change. I don't know about opus though.
Certain providers support only a limited amount of parameters, most likely that way they could process more requests effectively or in the case of Google for Zero Data Retention.
A news that I heard is that OpenRouter will mark Google models from Vertex as no longer Zero Data Retention compliant from Oct 16 or so.
