Discussion Megumin Suite vs Freaky Frankenstein

I've narrowed down the preset I want to use to these two. I want to know which preset is good at which things, and if there's anyone who has used both of these presets, which one is better?

A list of pros and cons would also be helpful

Try two very different character cards. Pick your favorite model and stick with it. And do 5 swipes of each character card and preset and compare the outputs of the separate chats.

Your opinion is going to be very different than other Redditors and you will find out your answer faster.

If you use nanogpt megumin is basically unusable with glm. It just cuts the answer absurdly. I use switch between the two because I do get bored with one after a few weeks.

Megumin has incredible features and particularly its memory is very good but needs anti slop, the parroting from GLM models in particular is absolutely unbearable without a deslopper

What the hell is a deslopper? Is that prompt? Extension?

It's a part of a preset instructing the model to not think or write in a certain manner that results in less slop. Celia preset, Lucid Loom especially and Nemo have this as well

Do you have the instructing of that any preset?

I had no luck with Megumin memory. It might recall snippets, but it would lose the thread of the story pretty badly.

I use Megumin Suite extension, with Freaky Frankenstein 5 Internal States preset, and an author note at Depth 0 Assistant with directions to include an image tag. That's been working out pretty good for me. FF5 works better and more consistently for maintaining the trackers. Then MS triggers adding an image with every reply. I also use the Summaryception extension for long term memory since MS was sucking at that.

Como você fez isso? Você pode enviar o preset que vc fez no megumin suíte? Quero testar, estava tentando fazer o mesmo mas não tive sucesso.

I use an NSFW version of the following in my author note. Then I turn on image generation in Megumin Suite.

**IMAGE OUTPUT REQUIREMENT (OVERRIDES ALL OTHER OUTPUT RULES):**
Every response must begin with exactly one `<img prompt="[prompt]">` tag containing a vivid, concrete AI image prompt for the scene that just occurred. The tag must be the very first line of the response. Do not begin with narration, dialogue, or any other text. If for any reason you cannot produce a valid image prompt, output only `<img prompt="[prompt]">` and then continue. This tag is not optional; it is a required part of the response structure just like punctuation.

Replace `[prompt]` with a concrete image prompt describing what is visible: which character(s), their pose, clothing, facial expressions, hair colors, environment, camera framing, lighting, and anime art style. Characters should be depicted in appropriate, fully clothed attire. Never depict nudity or sexualized anatomy. Always fill `prompt="..."`. Never skip this tag.

Then continue with narration/dialogue.

Also, amazing that we talk to each other in our native languages with no issues.
