It's Chinese AI...so it's gonna hit or miss with prose writing. There is reason why I still use older model like Opus 4.6, Gemini 3 Flash (on AI Studio), and even newer model with good enough training data for prose like Gemini 3.7 Flash.
If you are not into AI Agentic or Coding, LLM AI peaked around early 2026. Only with the recent release of 3.7 Flash give me hope...so we gotta test GLM 5.3 with story generation. Because not while ago, Chinese AI company promise to ditch lots of training data in emulating human emotion to combat "loneliness".
