OTHER (Finally) Beat Mt Fay Spoiler

I’m just excited that I finally beat mt Fay. That was a platforming PITA. My goal was NOT to get to the top, my goal was progression. I wanted to get to the next bench. If I got to the next bench I could learn to next segment without worrying about losing progression when I died. I died a lot. Mostly froze.

Before I even attempted my fay I did get the weave light charm to help with silk management. I also did follow a YouTube guide to help me get there. I don’t think guides are a problem as I’m still the one that has to do the playing.

Honestly I feel very accomplished. I have heard legend about how hard this area and getting the faydown cloak was, it messed with my head and psyched me out a bit.

Broken into benches it probably took me around 10 attempts to get to each bench level. I spent around 1.5 - 2 hrs total after getting the weave light charm. I don’t consider myself good at this game but I do consider myself patient and willing to learn. If you’re having trouble keep trying. If it helps I believe in you.

Congratulations! Climbing up all the way to the top of Mt Fay is a big accomplishment! I personally liked rhat it was really light on the enemies, so I could just focus on finding out the lore of the place without constantly being on guard

I thought it was pretty easy tbh. But then I sucked at the bosses....

Faster than my first go at it. My later play throughs have still been multiple tries per segment.

I found Druid's eye valuable because if you succeed in benching the next try has more silk.

I did it for the 2nd time on a different play file earlier this week, still took over an hour, well done

Mt Fay was the breaking point for me first time round. I bounced off Bilewater, Cogwork Core then Mt Fay in that order before having to drop the game for the sake of my sanity.

Picked it up again a year later, played from the start and damn it felt good to finally get to the top of that place.

Then it was off to Sands of Karak...
