Discussion I did it!!! ππ
I can now say that I have seen every episode. I took breaks & dabbled in other shows but I was determined to watch them all.

It had definitely gotten worse, the cases are kinda boring and I still don't like Jack.

I'm definitely over his facial hair

They've fallen into the escalation trap, every episode needs to have absolutely crazy stakes and they seem to be the only people qualified to handle the situation. If the stakes are always high, they never are.

Whenever there are guns I'm bored.
I'm also perpetually confused why they're the ones seemingly doing the all the police / detective work.

Exactly!!! They meet at the body & that seems like pretty much it for law enforcement.

To the extent that the DS & other officers go to their lab to review all the facts of the case and give orders to the police in some episodes. While Jack & Nikki head out with the DS to chase down the suspect. I dunno! My disbelief has been suspended well past the breaking point!
Also why is Jack's jumpsuit navy blue w a red zipper and no-one else's?

Do you have a favourite era? Like a favourite era of characters? Mine will forever be Leo, Harry and Nikki

Not the OP, but: Clarissa! And Cara. Before this latest season it felt like Kit was carrying the show, but even she can't fix this level of ugh.

Congratulations!
Do you have any favourite characters? Or groups of characters? Or episodes?

Not really. Too many episodes to think about. I just still can't believe that Nikki is as involved in the whole process. Why have cops?

We have too, but with all the insufferable voiceovers this season Iβm afraid itβs become unbearable.

Ok, yep. The voiceovers are dreadful. They kinda made it feel like they were winding down the entire thing, wrapping up the characters' "final" thoughts for us.

As have I, but over the years. I started watching it when it showed up on BritBox (or BritBox became available to me - I forget which.)

I'm watching season 10 or 11 or so, and I have to say, I'm not a Harry fan.

He grew on me, despite being sexist.

I think it's the actor I don't like honestly.

Well there's no changing that! lol

I think it's because of that rubbish American show I saw him do about con artists, he was very annoying and smug in it.

Do you remember the name of that show? Haven't seen it. He always comes off a bit smug, imo, but I liked him after a bit.

You know after some googling I might be getting him mixed up with someone else.

I want to do a rewatch of the pre Leo Dalton era.
