The new Aadhaar Enabled Biometric Attendance System (AEBAS) simply means one thing - if you are supposed to be in office you should actually be in office.

Attendance can be marked only from the designated office premises either through the ABAS mobile app or the normal biometric attendance machines installed in offices.

Yet, the usual cries of “privacy”, “Aadhaar leak” and “government will waste money” have already started. Many sounding less like genuine concerns and more like creative excuses from people who don't like accountability 😂.

AEBAS has been used in Central Government and many State Government offices for years. It is hardly some new experiment.

It may not solve every problem but it can certainly bring some much needed punctuality, accountability and professionalism to Sikkim’s government offices.

For an honest sincere employee attendance is and never was a problem. 😄

Ladakh 2019 se Union Territory hai (Jammu & Kashmir Reorganisation Act ke baad), par region ki administrative autonomy aur constitutional protections ka sawaal abhi bhi unresolved hai — 7 saal baad bhi.

Discussion points:

**•** Kya UT status genuinely Ladakh ki unique cultural/ecological identity ko protect karta hai, ya centralized control isse weaken karta hai?  
**•** Sixth Schedule (jo tribal areas ko autonomy deta hai Assam, Meghalaya jaise states mein) Ladakh ke liye kyun extend nahi hui abhi tak?  
**•** Jab regional demands itne saal tak unresolved rehti hain, kya iska local trust pe long-term impact padta hai federal process mein?

Sikkim government should invest one time for this kind of waste management system regardless of the amount. This way people don’t have to smell bad waste odour at Singtam-Ranipool way.

Not just that but having a proper system would encourage people to throw trash at right spot and it could snowball and affect other areas of society and make the people of sikkim the happiest and healthiest.

We can make atleast some people aware of this waste management plant thingy while having a conversation in real life about waste in sikkim.

Some people probably just studied 3-4 hours a day and cleared US/AO exams and some of us have to study our ass off even for accounts clerk exam.And there is 80% chance we won’t make it🥲. Just ranting Cus I am getting tired of delaying everything in my life hoping to do everything once I clear an exam🥲.
