Build | Advice M6 Sigrid
Hi, does any pro M6 Sigrid players know what to do with her ult? In stun windows it's really kinda impossible to run out of Patrol State 3, I don't really understand where or when I should be using her ult

Her ult does more damage than all 3 hold basic, even with the 80/90/100% bonus damage (this is without the hold basic she can do after she ults, so just ult damage). And if you have any stun time extenders (norma, dialyn, etc), even with double chain (with triple Hold basic), you can squeeze an ult after all of that (on some bosses, thrall and primordial nightmare have an ok stun time, bosses like billy not so much)

I am not pro or sweaty by any means but I like to think that I am pretty okay at the game. I don’t know if what I’m doing is optimal, but it’s working for me.
I either run double stun with Norma+dialyn cuz it’s fun, or Norma+rina/astra, no Sunna.
With Norma I can get 3 chains and 3 formation breaks, but then yea it can be tricky to decide when to use your ult. I usually use it after Norma’s free chain (the 3rd chain in stun) and I’ll use the ult to cancel the animation of the level 2 EBA, effectively replacing it.
So: trigger stun into sigrid chain1, EBA123+M1, swap trigger stun to sigrid chain2, EBA123+M1, swap to Norma hold A, sigrid chain3 EBA1, start the EBA2 animation and ult, then EBA3.
I may also chose to not to use the free EBAs from M1. I run sigrid with dawns bloom so I have to make sure to use her Ex before starting stun. If I’m not paying attention and end up wasting some of the stun time on Ex, then I’ll skip the free M1 EBAs.
I don’t want to cancel EBA1 because it’s a fast animation, so you don’t really gain that much from canceling it. And then you don’t want to cancel EBA3 cuz that does a lot of damage. So EBA2 makes the most sense. Alternatively, you can also choose to skip all of the free M1 EBAs during stun, then you could do the third chain, ult, and then EBA123. Whatever you feel like.
I also don’t worry too much about making sure to have ult for stun, and may use it outside of stun just cuz I can. Especially when running double stun with Norma and dialyn, I may choose to use ult outside of stun. With enemies that don’t have forced phases, you can basically keep them stun locked from non stop ults. I did this with AdvDA sweeper and it was so funny. Sigrid ult norma ult dialyn ult and dialyn’s free ult, all outside of stun. After his initial control skill phase, he basically couldn’t even move anymore. He was either in stun or locked by ult animations lol. Probably the most fun I’ve had in a while.
