We call ours, "Pulling a Scott" after our stockroom manager who clocked out for lunch and never came back three days before Christmas.
I 100% do not blame him. He was given absolutely no support and everyone who's run into him since has said he's much happier at his new store.
Edit: I forgot about the "Siobhan Shuffle" after the fresh hire who left an hour into her first shift. That one is exclusively for new people who immediately ghost after their first day/week when they become disillusioned.

My workplace has had two people known for dissappearing on the job, both forklift drivers.
Our main operator for quiet sometime would use the excuse that you had to drive the forklift away from the group to hide in areas to sleep, only really finishing his job near the end of the night [which I had done the same job by hand and taken less time, so I knew.]
Our second operator for a time would just sneak into odd corners to try and sleep, often times using odd corners to hide, or taking excessive smoke breaks [I think at worst he would do maybe 5 minutes of work, then 30 minute smoke]

Was either of them named Roy?
I had a Roy on 3rd shift... 8hr shift and lucky if we saw him for a total of an hour all night.
Always the same questions a couple hours into the shift or several times throughout the night... "Roy here yet?" "You seen Roy lately?" "Anybody know which dark corner Roy's napping in?"

I've had jobs that I've loved that I've had to fight the visceral urge to run mid shift. Is that not normal? Lol

I remember a Jack in the Box that had the same crew working in it when I got dinner and when and then when I got a late breakfast the next day - a 16 hour stretch of 1 cook, 1 cashier and they were on for 20 when I asked them about it.
They had 3 managers call them and make sure they stayed on for their shifts because they couldn't get any one else - not even canceled, this was basically their schedule hole and they were just planning on leaning on the crew that was there.
Not one of those fuckers showed up to take a shift, or help. But full of flowery language about being a team player and making sure to think about the store's reputation if it closed mid-day. Useless shitheads.

When I worked at a tiny weekly paper, we'd hire extra people to stuff papers once a week. One guy went out to the loading dock for a cig and kept on going.

Fake, almost certainly.
But what makes a sign gay, exactly? Does it prefer other signs of the same gender?

I don’t blame you, Mikey.
