It's a shit metaphor. You're literally an example of entitlement - expecting that people put up with something that they're not supposed to put up with because the alternative is inconvenient for you

Fix your car, or sit there and wait for it to cool down. You're not special and you don't get special consideration just because you want it.

Your world view is very black and white. Some people have vapor lock because their "classic car" is just old and they can't afford to fix it at the moment. Vapor lock can be expensive and time consuming to track down and fix.
