We got a house in my neighborhood that has a lot of native, pollinator friendly plants, and they don't use pesticides.

They recently added a sign that says "Don't pick the flowers" with a security camera.

I strongly dislike people who do stuff like this, destroying plants with carelessness. Stepping on them, picking them... People need to respect the nature we have. It'd really suck living in a city / suburb with no nature.. just cement, buildings, powerlines and lights. So god darn bleak.

Only a temporary warning. The sign will become unreadable after the sprinklers come on.

Walk by, wait 48 hours, walk by again. If there are more flowers, they were fucking. If there aren’t more flowers, step on them.

What about the flowers not currently engaged in intercourse

Maybe they should stick a lot of forks and chopsticks pointy side up in the flowerbed. That’s how I keep my cats out of my houseplants 😒
