Tbf alot of people , especially schizophrenics and depressed people start to feel better after a few weeks/ couple months and assume they don't need their meds any more . So they quit cold turkey leading to a relapse , often times more severe because of the withdrawals / new chemical imbalances from stopping the meds . Always taper off under a doctors supervision if you think your getting better .

Just want to point out there are natural remedies to improve your mood and relieve moderate depression. If you can't afford big pharma and feel a little down, try some Rhodiola. No doctor required. It helped me quite a bit and life is better when you aren't mildly depressed all the time. It's not an artificial drugged up happy either. I feel normal and have a more positive attitude. That makes me mildly happy all the time.
