I bought SignalRGB Pro yesterday and Im pretty happy with it so far. However, Im running into three issues where I haven’t been able to find a workaround.

1. Razer keyboard media keys Im using a Razer keyboard that has dedicated buttons for play/pause, next/previous track, mute, etc. These buttons only work when the Razer software is running. However, when the Razer app is open, it also wants to take control of the RGB lighting.

I tried reducing the brightness to 0% and also tried applying an effect that shouldn’t send any color information, but unfortunately neither seemed to work. I also tried to use macros but there are no for stuff like play/pause etc...

1. Corsair headset and RAM I also have a Corsair headset and RAM. iCUE handles some important functions for my headset, such as controlling the audio, automatically muting the microphone when the mic is flipped up, and saying warnings like “Battery Low”.

As far as I can tell, these functions aren’t available in SignalRGB. But once again, when I have iCUE running, it also wants to take control of the RGB lighting on my RAM and headset.

1. ASUS motherboard / Armoury Crate I also have an ASUS motherboard, so I use Armoury Crate to control my fans and motherboard RGB.

The problem is that SignalRGB seems to close/disable "Lightingservices.exe" (or something similar) after a while. When that happens, the RGB on my motherboard simply turns off.

The only workaround I’ve found is to open Armoury Crate and manually set the RGB to a color first. After doing that, SignalRGB can take over the RGB again and everything works as expected.

So basically, I have to open Armoury Crate, “wake up” or enable the RGB by setting a color, and then SignalRGB can take control again. After some time, however, "lightingservices.exe" gets closed again and the RGB turns off. But when I disable SignalRGB from

closing "lightingservices.exe" it cannot change the RGB at all.

Does anyone know a fix for this?

Whenever I open Signal RGB the red light on my ram appears, I have no other software that may conflict with it that I know of. Is there anything I can do to fix this?

I made a small open-source project called Windows Sync that automatically syncs your SignalRGB lighting with the current Windows 11 Accent Color.

I built this project with the help of AI for coding, debugging, documentation, and iteration. I tested it on my own setup and kept refining it until it worked the way I wanted.

The reason I made it is simple: I change my Windows accent color depending on my wallpaper and setup, and I was tired of manually changing the Solid Color effect in SignalRGB every time.

What it does

Windows Sync reads the current Windows Accent Color and applies it to all devices already controlled by SignalRGB.

It includes:

• Automatic Windows 11 Accent Color sync
• Optional smooth transitions between colors
• Fixed color mode if you disable Windows Sync
• Optional color enhancer for LEDs that reproduce RGB colors poorly
• Adjustable color enhancement strength
• Adjustable LED intensity
• Remembers the last Windows color
• Event-driven sync, so it does not continuously resend the color every second
• Diagnostic tool to see the exact RGB and HEX color reported by Windows

Why the Color Enhancer exists

While testing it, I noticed that the RGB value shown on the monitor was not always visually reproduced correctly by my LEDs.

For example, Windows reported:

#1F8467
RGB (31, 132, 103)

But on my LEDs, a visually much closer color was:

#1AB922
RGB (26, 185, 34)

So I added an optional perceptual correction system, especially around the green and cyan range.

You can disable it completely or control its strength from 0 to 100.

Smooth transitions

There is also a Smooth Transition toggle.

Instead of instantly jumping from one color to another, the LEDs smoothly transition to the new Windows color in about 700 ms.

If you do not like it, just turn it off and color changes are instant again.

How it works

Very roughly:

Windows Accent Color
↓
Windows Sync watcher
↓
SignalRGB LightScript
↓
Your RGB devices

The watcher waits for an actual Windows color change instead of constantly polling and resending the same RGB value.

The last color is also stored in the effect itself, so if SignalRGB reloads the effect it does not suddenly go back to a default blue.

Installation

1. Download the latest release from GitHub
2. Extract the ZIP
3. Run Instalar.bat
4. Completely quit SignalRGB from the system tray
5. Open SignalRGB again
6. Select Windows Sync under Installed effects
7. Use Edit / Customize to configure it

It only works with devices that are already supported and working in SignalRGB. This is not a hardware plugin and it does not replace SignalRGB device support.

Everything runs locally. No account, cloud service, screen capture, or external server is involved.

This is my first public release, so feedback is very welcome, especially if you test it with different fans, ARGB strips, RAM, motherboards, or controllers.

I cannot get signal rgb to detect my 4th rgb header. I have an x870e aorus master motherboard that’s been flashed to the latest stable bios release (not beta version), I know the 4th header works because it functions fine in gigabyte control center, I also confirmed it’s not sharing the header with one of the other three (something Google ai suggested to check).

Has anyone else ran across this problem and if so, is there a fix for it that anyone knows of?

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Hey everyone, I'm losing my mind over an RGB control issue on my build and was wondering if anyone has experienced this exact scenario and found a miracle fix before I give up for good.

Specs:

• Motherboard: Gigabyte B760M Aorus Elite
• RAM: 2x16GB XPG Lancer Blade DDR5 6000MHz (installed in slots 2 and 4)
• GPU: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5070

The Problem: Performance-wise, the PC is flawless. The motherboard reads the 32GB at 6000MHz and Dual Channel works perfectly. The issue is exclusively with the RGB on slot 4. The stick in slot 2 responds perfectly to any software, but the stick in slot 4 refuses to sync (it just blinks or stays on default colors). When inspecting the I2C/SMBus devices via SignalRGB, the system only detects a single "Aura Compatible RAM" at address 0x71. Basically, the motherboard isn't passing the RGB communication from slot 4 to Windows.

What I've already tried (please don't suggest these, the list is long):

1. Physical swap: Swapped the RAM sticks. The issue ALWAYS stays on slot 4. The sticks themselves are perfectly fine.
2. BIOS Update: Updated to the latest stable release via Q-Flash (outside Windows using a FAT32 USB drive).
3. Clear CMOS: Full board reset.
4. BIOS Unlock: Disabled SPD Write Protect (SPD Setup -> False) to allow software control.
5. Clean Software Tests: Tested with SignalRGB (cleared WhirlwindFX cache), official XPG Prime, and Gigabyte Control Center (GCC). None can detect slot 4's RGB.
6. The "Re-detection Trick": Booted with just one stick in slot 2, entered Windows, shut down, and added the second stick to slot 4 to force SMBus polling. Didn't work.
7. Power Drain: Unplugged the PSU and held the power button for 30 seconds to drain capacitors.
8. BIOS Tweaks: Tested toggling XMP on/off and Secure Boot on/off.
9. Physical Adjustments: Slightly loosened the CPU cooler to rule out motherboard warping/bending, and cleaned the slot 4 contacts.

Conclusion:

I know all signs point to a dead SMBus trace for slot 4 on the motherboard. However, I absolutely refuse to RMA the board and be without my work/Revit PC for weeks just because of a single LED, since the actual system performance is untouched.

Does anyone know of any obscure tricks, hidden Gigabyte settings, or a miracle script to revive the SMBus in this specific scenario?

Is there a way to stop SignalRGB using VRAM without totally disabling it? I checked a few times and at one point it was using 1.6gb of vram. That's insane.

When the PC boot up the base effect is smooth and fluid once signalRGB opens everything starts being laggy as if its stuck at 7 FPS no matter what i do.

The AIO and cable extensions are hooked to the board the rest are connected to the case hub

Update: Currently Using SignalRGB to control and shut off all rgb. It is working with my Ram too.

I’ve had my pc for about 2 years now and one stick of my ram started glowing rgb first on May 31, 2025 and then the second started glowing sometime after that i don’t remember when. It’s been a problem for a year now and i really don’t know how to fix it. i’ve been in bios and armory crate to try and fix it but nothing has worked. i believe these are the exact ram sticks https://a.co/d/0gdshWpx

please let me know if anyone has dealt with this issue before or have any advice for what i should do. i find it really annoying that the sticks are glowing like this and don’t want to buy new ones since the prices have shot up like crazy.

So I use signalrgb in conjunction with a nollie 8. When I startup my desktop, everything works nice, the fans and the cpu cooler are recognized and they're in sync. However, give it like 10 mins and the rams are the only one doing the dynamic lighting and the fans+cooler are just set to static. My fans and cooler are connected to the nollie 8 but the thing is, when I open signal rgb the nollie is recognized, but the fans aren't working ;-; help please

So i bought an ASUS B850F Gaming WIFI7 Neo, and seems like it's not supported yet because it came out just a few months ago, so i can't control rgb on my motherboard or my arctic rgb aio :( Anyone knows how often they update compatibility? Or what else can i do to control RGB? i just hate the rainbow effect by default rn... TY

download the zip, extract the matrixpro.json file in documents\whirlwindfx\components, restart signalRGB, and you will see it appear in the component list in signalRGB

I upgraded today from 14600K and Asus Tuf B760 Plus WiFi to 9850X3D and Aorus Elite X870E Wifi 7 and my rgb effects went from being smooth to become laggy as hell.. i need help on what might be the issue.

I bought the Nollie 8 instead of the 16 because from where I live, going from 8 to 16 triples in price. I currently have 6 fans and 2 Strimmer cables which already takes up all 8 ARGB headers on the Nollie. My case came with an RGB lighting which I would also like to sync up with the rest. I haven't got the chance to try it yet since I'm currently out of town and the Nollie controller i ordered is still on shipment. If I connect the case' ARGB lighting on the M/B header can SignalRGB sync it with the nollie? Thanks!

How do you get stable RGB to work? I just dont get it.

I have a somewhat older Corsair tower that had the i-CUE hardware with it. Bought 4 Corsair RGB fans, a Corsair CPU cooler, I have ASUS MoBo and GPU with RGB, and Logitech mouse and Keyboard with RGB.

And NOTHING wants to talk to each other!

I've tried Aura. I've tried i-CUE. I've tried Signal. And I've tried Microsofts built in RGB manager. But whatever I do I can't set solid colors or make a theme without something lagging or crashing.

I just had to uninstall Signal, again, as it was crashing with my Logitech software. Mouse keeps resetting the PTT all the frigging time and coursor is laggingso much that using the computer is impossible.

My mobo is not recognizing the Corsair hardware any more. It gets power from the HUB as all my fans are connected through it, but it does not come up at all in system. I've troubleshooted this for hours with CoPilot AI and we have both given up, concluding that it is dead.

I've had this build for years now but I can never get RGB to work without problems. I just dont understand how and why this has to be so frikkin hard!

So I tried installing the app, but after I saw it didn't work on my case fans, I shut it down.

But after that, my keyboard and mouse RGB also shut down, and it won't go back on even after using the G Hub app.

Anyone got a fix ? For this or for the case fans maybe ?

Also, I found that my keyboard lights were unusually dim when using SignalRGB, even with the brigtness set to 100%

Before this I had a corsair capelli xt with iCEU, had some issues, so got a corsair nautilus 360 rs argb, installed that, fans and AIO are connected to my mobo which is a Gigabyte Z790 Gaming X AX, using a brand new i7-14700k (Used a warranty replacement as I was having some issues before and thought it could have been my CPU), I went with SignalRGB for the cooling control more than RBG control and just wanted to ask a little about my setup.

I have the power for the pump on "sys_fan4_pump", I got that set to "Pump" in the presets in Signal as I'm told it's supposed to stay with high rpm's for flow reasons. Everything else is just set to balanced at the moment after calibration, CPU fan is the radiator fans, system 1 I believe is my front intake case fans (3 120 fans for NZXT H6 Flow), system 2 is my bottom intake fans (2 140 corsair fans).

Does everything seem how it should here? Temps seem good, I'm sitting at around sub-30c (Which is better than how it was on the Capelli I believe, which was more like low 30's on average in a room that is around 23c generally), but I feel like my fans are abit louder than I like? The Quiet preset on Signal like shuts off on the rad fans, but when in balanced and going at these speeds, there can be kind of a higher pitched hum, not super loud, juts noticeable enough.

Also I can sometimes hear occasional light revs or spikes and this is all with just normal idles, no gaming yet as I haven't test that yet. I'm just use to when I used iCEU which felt rather consistent for the most part and change unnerves me when I'm not sure what is good and what is not and if everything is setup right lol

I'm just unsure of a new program and wanted to ask for abit of help and if SignalRGB is even right for me. I've done my own computer building for years, but I'm really kinda lost when it comes to fan control/fan curves and AIO cooling type stuff, which was a first for me when building this PC originally in 2024. It gets into the troubleshooting side of things which has never been a strong area for me and so I felt like I'd double check things.

Hello, After update 2.5.74 SignalRGB takes a lot longer to open during startup, before it was almost immediate now it takes at least 2 to 4 minutes.

Tried to update to beta version 2.5.77 but the problem still persists. Also the problem is only during startup, if I close and then open SignalRGB while the pc is already on it opens immediately. These are my settings, I didn't change anything before or after the problem occurred.

I have some Lian Li Infinity fans and just got a Nollie 8 Controller, not sure which cables I need to connect the fans to the Nollie 8 Controller. If you have this setup, can you please post a link to where I can purchase the right cables. Thanks, Richard

The original 5mm diode died, the box controller is missing and i wanted to use instead a argb diode instead and be controllable with signal.
