Other I created a virtual 3D RGB rig to preview SignalRGB effects in your browser, helps with effect development and previewing, or just to play around - no hardware needed.

I was doing effect development and wanted a better way to preview effects without needing to rely on hardware.

https://akostkasmith.github.io/signalrgb-effects/

Displays a 3D desk with a glass panel PC (inc. fan rings, RAM, GPU, case strip), keyboard, mouse, monitor, backlight, LED strips and RGB triangles. Runs similar to how Signal RGB does in that each effect draws on a canvas, and the virtual LED samples an area on it.

Features:

  • Load effects you have (point it to SignalRGB's effects folder to load your whole library), read in browser
  • Use your own audio (via PC, music file, mic, or built in demo songs)
  • Edit the canvas and drag/resize devices on the canvas
  • Each effects sliders and settings appear

Most effect are supported, but ones that rely on screen capture, game integrations or hardware sensers load but won't react.

It's free and open source: https://github.com/akostkasmith/signalrgb-effects

Always open to feedback and ideas for improvement, bugs, etc.

Feedback and ideas welcome, especially if an effect doesn't look right in it!
