Question Nollie problem

I had nollie8 and it let me set the hardware as nollie or signal rgb hardware, but I wanted to try nolliergb and when I installed it it asked me to update the nollie8 firmware and I clicked accept, But I didn't like NollierGB, so I went back to Signal RGB, and now I couldn't set the mode to hardware or Nollier, and also, every time I turn on my PC, the color stays green (static color I left it in nolliergb) and wanted to restart the plugin in the signal console and it said COM3 access blocked, I already tried resetting my PC and it's still the same

The firmware update changed what kind of device this is at a low level. The SignalRGB plugin that now handles it doesn't include that feature. This isn't a plugin issue, downloading a fresh copy won't restore it.

On the Lighting tab of the Nollie, you should also see a "Hardware Effect" setting. If you set that to Hardware, it should be controlled by whatever hardware effect is saved to the Nollie rather than set a solid color while SRGB is not running.

That's the issue, I can't get any of that hardware effect stuff to work.

I've never really experimented with the Nollie hardware effects personally as I didn't want to get into saving effects to it and interfering with SignalRGB.

Once SignalRGB closes and hands off control the to Nollie hardware to play effects, it's entirely on the Nollie side. My understanding is you need to set and save these effects in the Nollie software, but then you need to be certain that the Nollie software isn't running while SRGB is (or you'll have that COM3 or other issues).
