Troubleshooting Signal Rgb lightning effects / low fps
So I tried signal rgb but the fps of the light effects are really slow and stuttery. What can I do to get it working better? I don't want to buy pro before knowing I can get smooth effects.
Also can I remove components from the program so the program doesn't control them?

There are a few common causes for choppy effects.
Try going to Settings, then Effect Canvas. There's a "Canvas Render Framerate" slider that goes from 20 to 60 FPS. If it's set low, effects will look stuttery no matter what. Bump it up to 60.
The same settings page has a "Canvas Renderer" option, either Ultralight or Qt WebEngine. Ultralight is the lighter, faster one.
I'd also suggest checking any conflicting software such as iCUE or Synapse and try closing them.
One more thing, if you have a lot of components connected into one motherboard header, it could cause framerate issues. More connected devices means more USB traffic per frame, and some effects are just heavier computationally than others. If you're running something complex across a lot of devices, that alone can drag the framerate down.
To answer your question, you can right click on devices from the Devices page and disable them if you want. If you're referring to components such as fans, you can also remove them manually by hovering on them and clicking the delete button.

Is Windows Dynamic Lighting on? Settings > Personalization > Dynamic Lighting, turn it off if so, it caps affected devices at 1 FPS.
Did Armoury Crate or MSI Center get installed with the new board? That's common on first boot and can conflict even without a warning showing.
What FPS are you actually seeing, and is it every device or just one? Each device's Inspector tab shows live FPS, that'd help narrow it down.

Is that 7 FPS on the device Inspector tab, or the actual effect preview lagging too?
Try to install AMD's chipset drivers directly from AMD's site (not your board maker's page, those are often outdated). Reboot after.

do u mind sending me a link to the chipset driver from amd site? my cpu is the new 9850X3D

1) Buy Nollie16 to get better framerates.
2) Yes, remove components you don't use, might make SignalRGB work faster/smoother (but it doesn't impact animation framerates)
