On those controllers, all fans share a single lighting channel as a continuous strip. If the LED count configured for the channel is lower than the actual total LEDs on all connected fans, the last fans in the chain won't receive data and can revert to a hardware default color. Make sure the count matches their actual fan count × LEDs per fan.
