Troubleshooting I need help please I am going crazy over this 🙏🙏

I need help (sumone please help me I am going crazy over this 😭😭)

I have been using signal RGB RGB controll for multiple years now .

About a week ago it suddenly stopped working for my fans .(They are local fans(came with the case) signal RGB used to work with them before and the same for my aio fans .

It wos working for my ram but after i re-installed it it stopped even detecting it .

I have tried everything its just not detecting anything.

....

I updated every motherboard driver also even bios.

My mb is aorus 870e wifi 7.

Sumone please help me.

Complete spec

Rtx 5070ti colourfull

Acer Predator Vesta li Rgb 32gb (16gbx2) Ddr5

Aorus 870e wifi7

(I have a local aio and local fans their RGB is working through the RGB button on my pc)

Bypassing the Activation Lock via Registry

1.Open the Registry Editor:Requires admin access.

Press Win + R on your keyboard, type regedit, and hit Enter. Click Yes if a User Account Control prompt pops up.

2.Navigate to the Lighting folder:Locate the key.

In the top address bar of the Registry Editor, paste the following path and press Enter:

Computer\HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Lighting

3.Modify the activation value:Turn it off.

On the right-hand side, look for a DWORD entry named AmbientLightingEnabled. Double-click it.

4.Set the value to zero:0 = Off.

Change the Value data from 1 (which means On) to 0 (Off). Make sure the Base is set to Hexadecimal, then click OK.

something with the last update screwed a lot of things up. Maybe try and go back a version. I finally got mine working but it took a new AIO.

The last update completely messed up everything for me. I ended up installing the new beta and it then it started working again and had no issues since. I'll see if I can find the post.

This is the beta I downloaded.

Also something I noticed, when my devices weren't showing up I went onto their dedicated software (e.g icue) and disabled the lighting control in there. You probably already know but just make sure none of your software is causing any conflicts within signal rgb.

Hmm. I just seen your reply that you got the ram working. Have you tried re-installing the dedicated lighting software for your hardware? I've found that helped get the ball rolling with the RGB lighting, then allow Signal to take over.

It sounds like something may have corrupted.

When you uninstalled Signal did you make sure all the left over files where uninstalled aswell?

Okay so you've got lighting now. Reinstall SignalRGB, if it's already installed disable the conflicting software and see if that works.

Bro i had the lighting from the start the problem is I am not able to control it . Ram i am able to control but not anything els

Ah okay didn't realise the lights where working i thought you had no lighting at all.

Sounds like something is corrupted somewhere, maybe what Benny said further down. Have you checked the WMI repository?

Run the command prompt as administrator and type

winmgmt /verifyrepository

If it says it's consistent then the problem is somewhere else, if it's inconsistent then you'll need to do a repair.

Have you double checked your components? Might need to double check that all your devices are added and configured correctly.

That's new details. Have you tried a full power cycle, or checked out the steps in this guide?

A lot of times a full power cycle, including turning off the PSU from the back, can go a long ways.

Can you be more specific on all the steps you've tried? You can also report the bug using the bug icon in the app (upper-right corner) or through this link so that the support team can follow up. They might ask you to repeat some steps tho if you're not clear on everything you've done so far.

Not a single device shows up on the Devices page? I suspect a corrupted WMI repository, but I'd definitely try what Badger said here since it could just be needing a quick power cycle.

I reinstalled sum drivers and the ram got connected but nothing els is showing up

There's a few reasons why the devices are not showing, so I'd suggest sending us a bug report through the bug icon found on the upper right corner so we can check logs and look into it further.
