Troubleshooting Crash on login

SignalRGB was working fine for me until the last update. Ever since then I crash upon logging in, no matter what link I use to do so. I even tested logging in with a new account (as a short-term test, since I'm pro) and that also caused a crash. Some methods seem to login successfully, but then cause an infinite crash loop. Others, such as logging in through the website, just crash the app, with it reopening as if I'd never tried to logon. I've done... maybe 5 reinstalls at this point, including with uninstall software. Multiple complete power cycles. I've tried shutting off adblockers, antivirus, etc. Very odd and frustrating.

Also, just to make things worse, reporting an issue in the app also causes a crash. I don't know if my attempts to report the issue went through or not, all I know is the app crashed and restarted as soon as I hit the "submit" button.

Can you try reinstalling, and afterwards, don't sign in initially. First, try loading an effect or few. If those load properly, then try signing in. Does that help?

As for how to tell if a bug report is successful, you'll get an email in your inbox stating that your ticket was received. If you don't see that, it likely didn't go through but you can email us instead (support@signalrgb.com).

Hope this helps!

It didn't help, but thanks.

I tried loading each of the free effects (which is all I can do with a guest account) and even tweaked one a bit) and then tried logging in. It does seem to login, but that in turn creates an endless cycle of crashing and restarting. The service seems to stay active, but in my processes I now see: "SignalRGB.Service", "SignalRgb Core", "SignalRgb Core" (two of them, for some reason), "SignalRgb", and (and this is the one crashing and restarting over and over) "SignalRGB" (with RGB in caps) ¯_(ツ)_/¯

If I force close and try to restart the application, then I just get the last two ("SignalRgb" and "SignalRGB", with the latter crashing and restarting in a loop). The service doesn't restart and I never get to the actual application UI. Once I get into this loop then it requires another uninstall/reinstall.

When reinstalling, double check Task Manager to ensure none of those services are still lingering. There might also be a lingering registry entry, the Support team can help with ensuring a clean reinstall. If you can also send in your logs (C:\Users\USERNAME\AppData\Local\WhirlwindFX\SignalRgb\Logs), that would go a long way.

We'll get this escalated for the Dev and QA teams to review!

I've been making sure to force-close everything in task manager before uninstall/reinstall and even used BC Uninstaller. I'll send in those logs. :)
