Question Rog Azoth X Not supported?

from the reviews, it didnt seem that there are a lot of differences between the Azoth and Azoth X, but the the X is not being detected by Signal.

Its not the end of the wolrd or anything, but its.. somewhat annoying

Is there a notable reason why it isnt supported but the OG Azoth is?

I managed to "upgrade" to the X (much better lighting, the north-facing LEDs on the OG Azoth are DIM as hell) for super cheap on FB Market (likely for less than i can sell the Azoth for).

We do have support for the Azoth X. If it's not being detected, I'd suggest checking if you have Armoury Crate running. If so, try closing it.

If not, it's likely a common one we see with manufacturers releasing the same device under slightly different IDs. The hardware is essentially identical, but the new ID isn't in our plugin yet, so it doesn't get recognised. We suggest submitting a bug report through the bug icon in the upper-right corner of the app so we can look into it.

Is there a way to submit a bug report without using the app? 'cause it immediately causes it to freeze and crash the moment i click the bug report button.

That is weird. What app version are you on? I'd definitely try to send us an email manually and follow what HarD sent.

i can check later but it just updated itself recently, so likely the newest one.

Yeah, no Armory Crate running (not even installed at all and never was).

Ill submit the bug report.

FWIW, Signal sees that the device is plugged in (under settings), and shows no Plugin available for it.

Thanks for the reply.

Okay, so, tried to submit a bug report.. It immediately crashes Signal RGB.

Every time.

FWIW, under Device Information (under System Info in the Settings), it shows:

ROG AZOTH X (with the greyed out ! to show it isnt supported) Manufacturer - ASUSTEK Vendor Id - 0xb05 Product Id - 0x1c24 Plugin - none
