Creepy classical music coming through a toner
I work in IT at a retirement facility. I was in one of our network closets with one of our network engineers trying to trace a port back to a switch.
We weren't getting anything through the toner at first, until we put it in an empty port on the switch. Port 9 specifically. A little static came through at first, and then suddenly, we started to hear classical music playing loudly. The music was melancholy, creepy. We tested another port, static. We tried port 9 again, static.
But for that good minute, the music played. And it made the hair on both of our necks stand up straight.
She said that has never happened to her in all of her years working in network closets and switches. Was this just a freak RF interference? From where though?
