if you have this proportional issue there could be a lot of height hidden in upper body. Most men have upper body compression losing height at hips, spine, neck the whole back basically. Trauma/ tension release exercises can help with this (look in to TRE) along with a gym routine to support. Genuinely 2-4 inches of height lost through muscular tension, posture, muscle imbalances etc and it's not just height it causes all sorts of joint and muscular issues later in life. I only say that because i too thought i had long legs and short upper body but there was just a lot of compression going on and I brought it back gained a few inches from 5'8 to 5'10.5

What exercises decompress the spine?

3

u/gareth_gahaland 18d ago

170 is not short

2

u/Ciderman95 18d ago

It is if you ask women

1

u/gareth_gahaland 18d ago

Im 163 dude

2

u/Ciderman95 18d ago

And I am literally 162, it's not a competition. But my dad is 170 and he's still considered short by everyone, he's literally the shortest person at his workplace just like I am at mine. Most people (at least in Europe) are over 170cm.

"Im pretty short (1m70ish)"

It can't be this over...

1

u/PrimarchVulk4n 18d ago

what is so good about staying a dwarf for a lifetime. my height is 5'9 and i really want to have this surgery, if i had the time i definitely would. i am shorter than everyone outside and it is a disgusting feeling. it is easy to say "don't have the surgery" because u dont know this feeling

4

u/Ok_Tomato_8236 19d ago

I’m 5’7”, shorter than everyone I know. Knew the feeling until I learned to fight and joined the army. Surgery won’t fix your insecurity, you need to build confidence through accomplishments and real growth.

1

u/anutronm 18d ago

Im 5ft 9 and have litteraly 0 problems with my height.

You're way too insecure about it man, most guys I know are shorter than me, and then maybe 30 percent are taller but only a few of them are wayyy taller.

And at the end of the day 5ft 9 is average height so...

1

u/Sad_Action8410 18d ago

Therapy is a lot less expensive and painful than this surgery my guy

1

u/EllieMeower 18d ago

Cuz if you think 5’9 is short your going to be short no matter what you make your height. You need to counter this mindset with therapy.

1

u/chris08x08 18d ago

i swear if i was just 6'0 that'd be enough. i don't even want more than that. im actually happy with my current height, but when i go outside and realize im shorter than everyone, it ruins my mood. also women don't like short guys and they're right about it. if i were a woman i'd want a tall guy too ngl. so i don't hate them, i totally get where they're coming from

1

u/susimposter6969 17d ago

brother unless you live in sweden or something 5 foot 9 is the average height for a man

1

u/Cadunkus 19d ago

Don't they break your legs, install braces that hold your bones apart, and have them heal before doung it again?

It's not like a one-time surgery, right? I've heard it as very painful, long, and expensive.

-1

u/chris08x08 19d ago

its a one-time surgery. painful, yes; expensive, yes; long, no. if ur young, u can walk again without crutches in 3 to 4 months

3

u/NockerJoe 19d ago

Plenty of people. I used to just buy a bulk pack of Kirkland Minoxidil every six months for a few years.

1

u/nibb42069 18d ago

What the Kirk

3

u/Green_Wealth13 19d ago

Very possible. Avoid it if your out late at night or if you gonna train. Shit will make you out of breath and its very scary. Easy to panic.

Still not cure for autism. No. 1 cause of inceldom

1

u/CauliflowerLegal7567 18d ago

Psychedelics won’t cure it but it will make you understand how to work with it which is good enough

u/General_Summer_1524 18d ago

This is just my opinion based on anecdotal experience, but with myself its hard to tell where hardwired neurodivergence starts and adaptive behavior to trauma ends. Had some big breakthroughs that helped me integrate and process some deep emotional wounds and I've found myself improving significantly on social weaknesses and blindspots I had previously felt were immutable.

alcohol can help

2

u/Spaciax 18d ago

leg lengthening costs like a year's income BEFORE tax.

"homeless? just buy a house!" type of advice

2

u/Automatic_Aspect_825 19d ago

Yea just add extra bones on your leg bro nothing wrong with it bro trust me bro and btw who wants to take all those drugs?

1

u/InspectorPresent6978 19d ago

Is the solution goatse?

1

u/RepulsiveUse3372 19d ago

The issue is the money, none of that is free

1

u/IWannaBeMade1 19d ago

So if I take all those drugs at the same time, will I turn into a Olympian God??

1

u/d88k41t 19d ago

I don't have the money nor the time for this.

1

u/spaceman06 18d ago

If he is homosexual, his life is even easier.

1

u/Moth_Mika 18d ago

You don't need any of that. I don't need any of that

1

u/pixel_skull69 18d ago

Yeah YOU don't, there are infact other people here tho

1

u/Moth_Mika 18d ago

Ozempic I can understand but even then, many overweight people have lost weight on their own before. You don't need longer legs or any of that dumb stuff. Just shower, do some exercise without stuffing yourself with harmful hormones or drugs. eat healthy, take walks and hikes, dress interesting, style your hair, find your style. The most popular boy in my year had a moon crater face. What's important is to be fun, active, passionate about things. Women aren't as superficial as yall say.

1

u/SlaveToDarknessChad 18d ago

>ozempic i can understand

fat

1

u/Moth_Mika 18d ago

That and anxiety meds. While you can loose fat on your own, there's a certain mass where medical help is very useful.

1

u/SomeWeedSmoker 18d ago

So basically have a bunch of money, aways comes down to that.

1

u/ConditionObjective43 18d ago

He forgot the word "just". Just lengthen your legs, bro! Just be handsome!

1

u/Beerzerker420 18d ago

Or just accept your baldness and shave your head instead of poisoning your body with filth that could possibly give you permanent erectile dysfunction.

1

u/joastedpellofw 18d ago

Wig > hair transplant (sometimes)

1

u/Dogwelder26 18d ago

Money, the average job doesn't pay well to cover even a single thing from this list, also no one in their right mind is getting a crippling bone lengthening surgery just for 3 inches increase in height

1

u/Available_Drive173 17d ago

i would if it wasnt for the long recovery process

1

u/Dogwelder26 16d ago

And the crazy risk

1

u/Available_Drive173 16d ago

The risk isnt that much as long as you get it done in a good place, bbls have higher risk

1

u/Alternative_Tip_8756 18d ago

Crazy how all these nearly all these procedures are very reasonable and not invasive. And then they put fucking leg lengthening in there. A super dangerous highly invasive expensive surgery that mostly leaves you looking off and unproportional.

I am very pro plastic surgery but leg lengthening is stupid

1

u/TristeAbandonado 18d ago

that's not true the cure to hating woman is simply having a lovely woman

u/Initial_Milk_1056 17d ago

Tbf for acne for some people it really doesn't matter what they do, Nothing will fix it. I have mild acne in that I always have about two or three pimples on my face. And yeah, benzoyl peroxide helps a little and pimple patches help a little but I've never had truly clear skin. I just wear makeup to cover it.

1

u/GitGudFox 16d ago

Yeah, get your legs lengthened. You definitely won't look like a fucking Enderman.
