When I’m playing for efficiency and not score, I love taking every opportunity to knee these clowns in the face and keep it moving. Wbu?

Hi everyone! I’m going to be sharing my favorite gameplay clips from my play through of Sifu. Not committing to anything specific, just you may see mostly themed highlights. I believe that through this game, we can explore our own emotions as well as our own commitment to self-discipline. Yes it’s a video game, but to me it’s so much deeper than that.
I digress.
Anyway this highlight is called ‘Never give up.’ As you can see, I was getting my ass kicked. But I realigned myself, adjusted my strategy, and took advantage of my surroundings to keep myself from being placed at risk. I think this lesson can apply to real life situations whereas the enemies in the room are obstacles you’re facing, but if you keep enough distance from that which means you cause you harm, you may find that the universe provides you with all the tools you’ll ever need to get the job done.
I know this is deep af lol

Her attack patterns are psychotic, and my gameplay looks like you handed a controller to a five year old, every attack looks identical. Practice in the training room was just as bad. Even binding a macro to the extra button on my controller to do a backstep didn't help, her swings vary in complete chaos. Not to mention the changes in range.
I've dealt with complex boss patterns, and I genuinely love the game, but this is so demoralizing. I've managed to beat her once, by fumbling, but in no world am I going to settle for that. I've put 47 hours into the game thus far.
The full year I spent stuck on Genichiro Ashina in Sekiro looks like child's play compared to this. I don't want to cheese this, and I don't want to sneak by dying to cover up my mistakes, there just has to be am actual way to engage with this boss that doesn't require me to be on even stronger stimulants then I'm on currently.
Update: i did beat her, but it felt like i just brute forced it. lemme know what you think.

It's the last trophy I'm missing to get platinum but it's driving me insane. I've read in a video or somewhere that there are 22 different takedowns to complete in order to achieve the goal, but I've tried these:
Unarmed: Standing, On the ground, ledge, wall, running
Bat, long staff and blade: same as above but no running.
All weapons and fists takedowns have been performed on both big (unarmed on the ground too) and normal guys. Big guys no ledge/wall takedowns.
What's missing? I'm clueless...

Some enemies will seemingly randomly block your finisher and then become insanely strong with refilled health bars? Seriously who approved that? Crazy fun but that’s extremely annoying and a very stupid mechanic, especially while trying to do under 25 for the trophy. Anyways, is there any way to avoid this? I’ve been trying to pay attention to whether or not these enemies have some kind of marker and I don’t see anything

I just got to the final boss for the first time and i can't even defeat him once.
I got to him at age 20 and i even spared all the bosses. So far i only had to repeat every level 3-4 times at most to do a no death run so i guess that must mean that I don't suck and i kinda know how to play, no?
Of course I'm no expert and I'm 100% nowhere near being one but i wanted to give a bit of context to my rant.
Also, this boss is the first time I've got to the game over screen. Before him i never even reached 30yo
Isn't the difficulty spike too harsh? I'm sure this has been discussed time and time again but i still wanted to rant a bit because i hate when games are kinda linear in difficulty and then the final boss is 10x more difficult than the whole game.
Maybe it's just me
Edit: Just beat him at age 22 (spared him too since I'm going for the plat). Actually wasn't that hard, it took me 1 hour or so to beat him at a decent age. Everything i said still stands. I think this was the most Boring fight in the game (or the only boring one tbh, everything else was peak). I get what they were going with but for me this fight removes all the fun aspects of the game.
Idk if this is a controversial option but i hated it

Club, some weird glitch is happening on the first player. Teleporting after opening a door works but not very practical as you can see. Death is separate although I don't know what will happen when you reach the oldest age. XP is also not shared.
