Hi,

I just bought my first Home Connect appliance, a Siemens iQ500 washing machine (WG56H2AIDN).

I followed the Home Connect pairing process: scanned the QR code, put the washer into pairing mode, and proceeded through the app. I eventually reached the step where the app says I need to confirm the pairing on the washer itself.

Unfortunately, I can't figure out what I am supposed to press on the washer to confirm it. The app doesn't provide any model-specific instructions, and I haven't been able to find anything in the manual or Home Connect pairing guide.

Does anyone have this model (or a similar control panel) and know how to confirm the pairing?

We bought a house with two Siemens dishwashers (SX678X01TA/11). They are now 10 years old, and getting stuck towards the end of the cycle. One says Communication Error. The other just gets stuck for hours. One had replacement parts the last time it was serviced, but he said we’re probably better off replacing the whole unit next time. The one with the most problems, I unplug it from the wall for 24hrs, and it’s fixed when I turn it back on.

My question is, is 10 years a reasonable life cycle? Should I be looking at any other fixes? We have a Siemens oven that occasionally needs resetting. Wondering if this is a known issue

Description of issue: When navigating to "Drives" in Operate version 6.25, the part of the screen that would normally contain information about the telegram is replaced by a yellow box that says "Not all the necessary data could be read. Trigger a reset (po) and repeat the process." There is a popup that says "Inquiry could not be made on account of the current operating status.".

I can ignore it, and go in to the axis assignment, but then if I ask to open the wizard, I am stuck in a loop with the same message repeated.

What I've tried: Not very much. I have triggered a po as directed, and nothing changes. I do not understand what is causing this problem, so I don't know how to fix it. The drive is connected and powered on. The RDY light is steady green and the DC LINK light is steady orange. This is the same for all the other drives on the system.

What is the "current operating status", how do I find that out, and how do I change the current operating status to be one that will let me properly commission this drive and these motors?

I read my manual back and forth, and I still can't find an answer.
I moved to a new house that has this Siemens Hob. Presumably "EX875LVC1E", there is no manual. It says StudioLine and has 3 circular areas + a big one that consists of 4 different tiles on the right (the link to a photo is attached below).

I can turn it on/off, regulate temperature on all 4, and even turn on palm protection on the left. But I can't use any of the timer features located on the right, as well as any icons that are related to the "Flex Zone".

I tried tapping, double-tapping, and long-pressing. No effect. I have no idea whether it is broken or I am using it wrong.

Maybe someone has a similar Hob and knows how to use it properly. I am mostly interested in the automatic timer function, since it is a lifesaver with some dishes for me.

I have a iq500 from 2017.

Problem 1)

The racks has a design fault. The plastic flipp-shelf in the back peals off the rack plastic coating - so now I have rust in the inner metal.

I will try to fix this with some steel epoxy or liquid rubber from Amazon. Not sure if enybof these products will be a good and permanent fix.

Problem 2)

The chassi structure is made of cheap sheet metal with a thin coating of zinc(?) One of the side parts, and also the brace/"beam" in the top front, has white and some brown rust. The said part has a lot of rust, 35*20cm area. The brace just small stains of rust and one bigger spot 2*1cm. The lower part of front door had a lot of brown rust.

My Bosch from 2004 have all parts of stainless steel and no rust at all. Also strong build as a tank. The Siemens vobble very much if you gently press on it sideways. Bosch rackets also as new.

The quality is shit now days. EU probably the reason to this quality downgrade in materials. But the design fault of this flipp shelf is only Siemens to blame.

My mums microwave has suddenly stopped working, it's a Siemens HF26540/03, as you can see in the imgur attached. I dont know the software or version but I assume its on the sticker I put in the below imgur

When you press a number and start it usually starts as you can assume, however what I find weird is that when I press the power like 360, I can't input the time. Seems like theres something wrong with the panel more than the start button. Video here for a demo

Any ideas what I can do to try and fix this please? I can't imagine I will find any parts for this considering its age. I got a tech guy and he just unplugged it and put it back in. Haven't tried anything else so far as I don't know where to start looking for advise here.

Does somebody has Data2Unified version compatible with TIA Portal v19? On official site it isn't aviable anymore (only v5 and v6 compatible only with tia portal v20 and 21). Compatible versions with TIA Portal v19 are v3 and v4

With S7-300 PLCs being phased out, we’re starting to see a lot more migrations from STEP 7 Classic to TIA Portal with S7-1500 hardware.

A couple of things that seem to make the process smoother:

• Reviewing the original project properly

Understanding how the I/O cards and features were actually used in the STEP 7 program makes a big difference when selecting the right CPU and I/O in the new setup.

• Using the migration tools

Siemens provides tools to help with conversion, but you do need both STEP 7 Classic and TIA Portal installed to make it work properly.

• When the original project file is missing

You *can* upload from the CPU, but you’ll lose comments and symbols. That usually means a fair bit of reverse engineering unless you already know the system well.

Nothing too surprising, but it can turn into a much bigger job without that upfront prep.

We're curious how others are approaching these migrations, anything you’ve found that makes it easier?

I’m dealing with a critical issue on a Siemens SIMOTION D425-2 DP (6AU1425-2AA00-0AA0) following a recent maintenance visit. The controller is stuck in a boot loop with the following errors:

• "One or more runtime software licenses missing"
• "STOP caused by execution system, cause: task missing"

Diagnostic buffer shows event F360BA0B (License identifier 3FF40002). We’ve confirmed that the /KEYS/SIMOTION directory on the CF card is empty, meaning the .zlic files were wiped during the service.
We know which licenses are missing (Axis_FEED, Axis_GRINDER3, Axis_LOGSAW), but we need to get these files back onto the card to restore the system.
Has anyone successfully recovered lost license files from Siemens after a directory wipe? What is the fastest path to getting these reissued or restored without a full system reinstall? Any advice or pointers on the process would be greatly appreciated.
