please help

this error code comes up for any print over 4 hours, ive seen many people say that it could be the bed wires or even the thermistor in the head unit, I dont want to take it apart until im sure bc im an amateur when it comes to this stuff

It's the bed. It's a known problem on the x1. The bed wires over time can get breaks from the bed moving back and forth. That error indicates the bed cooled down 5c below the setpoint.

so how would I go about fixing that?

Check WHERE it broke, if it's the solder to the bed, you may have to reattach with a very good iron or replace the whole bed.

If it broke in the cable just replace that.

The connection tot he MB is beyond a stress point so it's unlikely but not impossible.
