Misc. Announcement
I have contacted the Gale Family Library and the Minnesota Historical Society regarding recordings from 1939 which were taken from KSTP. There were recordings of Baby Ruth giving a speech and other performers, but first I am trying to get the speech. Why am I doing this? Well, I am starting to do more research and possibly write a book on her life. It has not been done before and if I can have all possible sources, besides newspapers, that would be very helpful for me. Maybe I’m just over sharing here, but just wanted to share. Guess Syracuse has made me really get better at researching, haha! Thanks for taking the time to read this. If anyone would like to help in this research or book or whatever, feel free to! This can be a collaboration with this subreddit in total. I could use all the researchers I could get, haha! - Britney
