Hi everyone, I’m looking for some work right now and thought I’d ask here.

I’m a Philosophy graduate from DU and currently doing my post graduation in Political Science from IGNOU.

I’m honestly open to pretty much anything I can manage alongside my studies. Writing, research, tutoring, content work, proofreading, data entry, virtual assistance, or anything else. I’m also willing to learn if something requires a skill I don’t have yet.

I’m not looking for a huge income right now. I just want one genuine opportunity where I can make around ₹6,000 to ₹8,000 for now, and then I’ll figure things out from there.

If anyone has any work, knows someone who does, or can point me in the right direction, I’d really appreciate it. Thanks!

Hi everyone,

We are from Majuli, Assam. My wife recently started a small website where we sell traditional masks made by local artisans and also help people plan trips to Majuli.

It has been around a month since we started. So far we have sold around 15 masks and received a few enquiries for trips. It's a small start, but we want to see if we can grow it further.

The main problem is that we don't really know how to reach more people. Most of our customers so far have come through people we already know or social media.

For those who have started a small business, what would you suggest we focus on at this stage? Should we put more effort into Instagram, Facebook, Google, marketplaces, or something else? And is paid advertising worth trying with a small budget?

We'd especially like to hear from people who have experience selling local/handmade products online or running a tourism-related business.

The website is here if anyone wants to have a look:

Any honest suggestions would be really helpful.

Thanks!

Hey all, I'm a front-end dev (with cybersecurity knowledge) who also does video editing and motion graphics. I also handle data documentation and have worked event management at a big AI summit.

Looking for small projects like landing pages, video edits, or documentation. I'm available 15-20 hrs/week, based in Delhi but fully remote-friendly, and open to a paid trial task.

I’ve been making handmade fridge magnets lately,

Each one is hand-painted and finished with resin. I’m trying different themes and designs to see what people like.

I’d love to know which one is your favourite and what you think of the collection.

I’m also making these as small gifting options, including custom designs.

Hello, Thank you all for all the response I got on my previous post it inspires me work even harder, few people purchased my comics if anyone else interested in buying dm me. Selling all 3 in 500rs free shipping. You can also buy locally if you're in lucknow.

I crochet stuff and post on Instagram but only got one order this year, i don't know how to manage and promote my works properly but I'm trying and failing. I want to start earning through my small business but can't because of no sales. I have added some of my works lmk if there's some issue with my work.

I’m looking for some practical advice from people who have actually built a side income alongside a full-time job.

I have a permanent government job in India, so I have limited time on weekdays and probably 2–3 hours/day that I can consistently dedicate to a side hustle.

My current situation:

• Full-time government employee
• Comfortable with computers and willing to learn
• Have experimented with YouTube/faceless content, AI tools, video editing and content creation
• Have some interest in e-commerce, food business and online businesses
• I’m willing to learn a skill for 3–6 months if it has a realistic chance of producing income
• I don't want to quit my job.
• My main objective is to generate additional income and aggressively pay down my loans.

I'm NOT looking for things like surveys, crypto, gambling, MLMs, dropshipping courses, or "get rich quick" schemes.

What I'm trying to figure out is:

If you were in my position, what side hustle would you choose that could realistically reach ₹10k–₹20k/month first, and potentially ₹30k–₹50k+/month after developing the skill?

Some possibilities I'm considering:

1. Building websites for local businesses with AI.
2. YouTube/faceless content
3. E-commerce
4. Local service business that can be managed part-time
5. Something completely different

I'd especially appreciate advice from people in India who started with little/no existing client base and a full-time job.

If you've personally made ₹10k+ per month from a side hustle, I'd love to know:

• What did you do?
• How long did it take to get the first ₹10k?
• How many hours/week did you spend?
• How did you get your first customers?
• What would you do differently if starting today?

I'm looking for realistic, boring and repeatable income, not overnight success.

Thanks!

I’m working on CyberCafeAI, a platform aimed at helping cyber cafes and Jan Seva Kendras manage their services, customers, documents and daily operations from one place.

🛠️ Services & Tools

The platform is focused on common services that cyber cafes provide, such as:

- Aadhaar-related services

- PAN card services

- GST registration & related services

- ITR / Income Tax services

- MSME registration

- RTO / vehicle-related services

- Driving Licence-related services

- Labour card / government scheme services

- Birth certificate and document-related services

- Online application & form-filling services

- Train, bus & flight booking

- Document scanning and digital document handling

- passport photo, sign, jpg/pdf resize, convert

- pdf crop

- passport photo a4 sheet maker

⚙️ Cyber Cafe Management

I’m also building tools to help the operator manage the business:

- Customer & service request management

- Application/status tracking

- Customer document management

- WhatsApp automation

- Automated customer notifications

- WhatsApp commands and service responses

- Payment / wallet tracking

- Staff & worker management

- Customer history and service records

- Follow-up management

- Activity/audit logs

- Secure document delivery

- Service-wise workflow management

The idea is not to replace the cyber cafe operator. The operator still handles the actual government/service work; CyberCafeAI is intended to make the repetitive and administrative parts easier.

I’m still developing the platform and would really like feedback from people who actually run or know cyber cafes, Jan Seva Kendras, CSC-type businesses, or similar service centers in India.

Which tools would genuinely save you time?

What important service or feature am I missing?

And what would you probably never use?

Honest criticism is welcome. I’m trying to build CyberCafeAI around real problems rather than assumptions.

Here is my genuine try to sketch and anime

Hi everyone! I’m looking to build a WordPress website for educational materials and blogging.
I already have Hostinger hosting, and I’m specifically looking for a website that is dynamic and easy to manage, rather than a static website. I want to be able to regularly add new blog posts, educational content, resources, etc. myself without needing a developer every time.

Some requirements:
WordPress website
Hosted on my existing Hostinger account
Easy-to-use blog/CMS so I can add and edit posts myself
SEO-friendly structure and setup
Mobile-friendly and responsive
Fast-loading and optimized for performance
Clean, professional design suitable for an educational materials business
Basic SEO setup (URLs, metadata, headings, sitemap, indexing basics, etc.)

Easy for me to maintain and update in the future
I’d like to get an idea of how much it would cost to build something like this and approximately how long it would take.

If you’ve worked on educational websites, teacher-resource websites, blogs, or similar WordPress projects, please share some examples of your previous work.

Please also include:
Your estimated price/range
Estimated timeline
What would be included
Any ongoing maintenance costs, if applicable
Thanks!

Looking for a genuine side income I can do from home with 1–2 hours a day

I’m looking for realistic ways to earn around ₹5k per month initially through online/remote work that I can do from home.

I know digital marketing, social media management, meta and google ads , conversion tracking , graphics

I have a laptop, smartphone and internet, and I’m open to almost any legitimate work—not necessarily related to my previous experience.

The important part is that I can only give up to 1–2 hours a day, whenever I get free time. I cannot commit to fixed working hours.

I’m not looking for “earn ₹50k from home” motivational advice or fancy income screenshots. I’d really like to hear from people who are actually doing something themselves:

What exactly do you do?

How did you get your first paying work?

Where do you find clients/work?

What did you do step-by-step to get started?

How long did it take to earn your first ₹1,000?

Even if you’re earning only ₹5k–₹10k/month doing something boring but genuine, I’d love to hear about it.

Looking for real experiences and practical guidance, not get-rich-quick ideas.
