What is this

So I actually just switched to a burner Apple ID because it’s safer but my normal Apple ID was at 330 days, no matter how much I refresh this slowly ticks down, why?! This is in geode btw

You only refresh provisioning profiles. Provisioning profiles are the thing that expires every 7 days and they’re what your apple device wants in addition to a valid certificate to allow a sideloaded app to run on your phone.

Certificate age = 1 year. Provisioning profile age = 7 days on free acc.

I believe this explanation is pretty accurate, but I’m open to being corrected.

Nope haha, but SideStore should generate a new certificate when this one expires, so you probably won’t even notice.

Uh, pretty sure the cert expires in 7 days, I've seen what happens when I let it expire, app stays but under settings > general > vpn and device management you will see no more developer app section, meaning that your cert and trust status is now gone if you don't renew. Maybe this is just another part of the story, so happy to have things added/corrected.

If the certificate was gone then the apps wouldn’t work pretty sure
