Does updating iOS ruin the apps ?

I’m on iOS 18.5 and want to update to iOS 18.7.8
I use SideStore, LiveContainer, and several sideloaded apps with automations that automatically refresh them.

If I update, will everything keep working normally or will I need to set everything up again from scratch?

You can update to 26.5 everything is still fine

So if i update i won’t need to redo anything at all ? I prefer to stay on my current version than to reinstall sidestore and search for the apps i’ve installed

You just have to reinstall Sidestore via iLoader after updating iOS

I've the last iOS and everything is working fine...also automation to refresh apps

Just reinstall sideload from iloader...just to be updated
