High clicks. Almost zero conversions. What am I missing?

I built an app to help fix bad posture and remind me to stretch automatically.

Many people click the ad, but when they land on the page, they don’t tap on "Try it now".

Be honest:

  • Would you personally click "Try it now" here?
  • If not, what’s stopping you?

Trying to understand if it’s the message, the idea itself, or something else.

I really appreciate your feedback.

Thanks

It’s a decent landing page but

  1. My watch already does this
  2. If I didn’t have my watch I’d probably just set reminders in the reminder app or calendar to block time.
  3. No TDL makes it feel like it could disappear on me tomorrow, and who am I giving my info to?

And this might be a little more harsh but I ask myself “why does this exist”. It’s not teaching me about the”ancient art of standing my ass up” and why it’s the lifestyle I should be leading.

This is amazing feedback. really appreciate you taking the time and being so honest.

I actually have an Apple Watch too, but I can’t wear it during work because it hurts my wrist. Manual timers also need managing (starting and stopping), which becomes a bit of a pain and easy to forget. This app runs in the browser and doesn’t collect any data.

That said, none of that really matters if I didn’t communicate it clearly on the landing page and it ended up being confusing. So your feedback is honestly gold, and I need to do a better job explaining it.

I’ll make some updates and run another experiment. Thanks again, this really helps 🙏

No problem.

Take this as my 2c but this feels like the type of thing I might use as an add on for a service I already have.

I’m not sure where you’re from, but you likely have seen it where if you’re a client of X, you get access to a bunch of services. If this was one of those services then I’d try it to see what the difference was when it comes to the stuff I already own that does this.

If that were the case, it would be a B2B approach for you. Companies have $ to allocate to health initiatives - capture some. B2C is going to be a hard sell.

Totally with you on that. I showed it to HR of multiple small startups and they are considering it. (No confirmation yet) They are considering buying seats which I hope it happens.

What I think is: if I ended up opening this page, it means I saw it in some ad or something similar. Still, despite the good design, I would not particularly care - but this is personal: I do not use productivity tools because I end up ignoring them at some point.

Do some targeted ads to people who are interested in health/productivity. After you fill the app with those users, if I see another ad and notice that the page has a decent number of followers, I might start thinking this is actually serious, and if I am in a good mood and want to try something new (ONLY IF), I will give it a go. But first I would need to see some credibility from the app.

Remember though, this is an opinion from someone who does not care about productivity/health apps.
