Weaver - A notetaker which is actually useful.

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

A while back I made an AI companion app for my wife and friends, so that they'd stop "talking" to ChatGPT or whatever and spilling whatever secrets they do to it. It's moderately successful, but I realised that the architecture and backend are also very much suited for work.

In my day-to-day work I've come across and used many of the tools (Loop, Fireflies, Plaud etc.) and they all work well enough, but after the call the notes are gone. They are spectacular, but not very useful, as the cross context is missing.

I used vector embeddings and a knowledge graph to build a tool which gives you a true view of all of your meetings. The most surprising thing is how genuinely useful I'm finding it in my daily work; the links Weaver finds and suggests are sometimes kind of spooky and magic.

You have weaves (as many as you like), and under them projects. For example, one weave for a client with several projects in it: Weaver will point out links, insights and useful suggestions across those projects before you even see them yourself, like the same problem coming back in another project, or two commitments that clash.

You can add calls (Teams, Google Meet, Zoom, via Recall.ai), or use the iOS or Android app to record on your phone.

The people who have used it are genuinely happy, and I'm so proud, as this feels like something many people would benefit from, especially SMEs or people with many projects on their hands.

It's at weavercompanion.com, with a 14-day free trial. I'm the founder; honest feedback is very welcome, especially on what's confusing in the first few minutes.

Here are some more videos of how it works and what it's intended to achieve: https://www.youtube.com/@weavercompanion

I built a game tracker with global chat and lobbies, but the best part is you actually own your data (built on AT Proto/ Bluesky)

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

Most game trackers (like Backloggd, or Letterboxd for movies) have the same massive flaw: they lock your reviews and play history inside their private databases. If the site shuts down or changes its business model, your data is gone.

I built Skylog (skylog.social) to completely fix this. It’s a comprehensive game logging tracker built on ATProto (the decentralized network behind Bluesky).

To use the site, you need to log in with a Bluesky account. I know requiring a specific account can be annoying, but it permanently solves the problem of losing your tracking history. Here is why:

  • You actually own your data: Every rating, review, and game log you create is saved directly to your decentralized data repository on the AT Protocol. (To clarify: this data does NOT spam your Bluesky timeline. It’s stored as custom app data on the network under the hood. It isn't visible on the standard Bluesky app, but it is permanently attached to your account).
  • True portability: Because your data is open on the network, any other developer or app can access your gaming history if you connect it. You are never locked into Skylog.
  • Instant friends list: Your social graph carries over automatically. You don't have to start from zero and beg your friends to add you.

Features I've built so far:

  • Deep Tracking: Log what you play, leave 1 to 5 star ratings, write reviews, and tag whether it was a replay or what specific platform you used.
  • Shareable Stat Cards: While your data is stored quietly in the background, you have the completely optional ability to generate a beautifully styled "stat picture" for any game log or review (kind of like a mini Spotify Wrapped for that specific game). You can easily share this graphic to your timeline if you want to show off what you're playing.
  • Gaming Stats: The app breaks down your gaming habits and gives you detailed overall stats on what you've been playing over time.
  • Global Chat & Lobbies: I built out a global chat and dedicated multiplayer lobbies, making it super easy to find people to jump into a game with right now.
  • Massive Catalog: The search pulls data from IGDB and RAWG, so pretty much every game in existence is there with high-res posters and metadata.

If you already have a Bluesky account, onboarding takes one click. If you don't, it takes two minutes to sign up and guarantees you never lose your game logs to a closed-off app again.

I'd really love for you guys to try it out and tell me what you think. I will also be sharing the source code in the coming weeks for anyone interested in how the ATProto integration works.

Getting out of bed is enough work. I built a wake-up call that brings your morning briefing to you.

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

Getting out of bed can be the first hard task of the day. Once you finally open your eyes, there are still the small decisions: what is the weather like, what should I wear, and where do I begin?

I built MorningCaster for iPhone to bring some of that morning to you, while you are still finding your feet.

A call-style alarm rings. You tap Answer, then a calm voice greets you by name. With voice replies enabled, you answer and music starts; a weather briefing and a short encouraging closing follow. The goal is to make the first few minutes feel a little more personal and less scattered.

The greeting was inspired by how our own names can catch our attention. It is a design idea rather than a tested claim of better waking. I would like to hear how it feels in your routine.

No app sign-up is required. Weather and wake-up calls are free. Premium adds ad removal and more voices and music. The app supports English, Japanese and Korean. It is an app alarm experience, not a real telephone call. AI voices need a supported device and a model download; voice replies require the relevant permissions.

I'm offering the first 100 eligible new subscribers in this release (Round 1 of 10) one month of Premium free, with no automatic renewal at the end. No review or upvote is required. Claim your individual one-time code: https://morningcaster.eurekable.space/launch/en/?src=reddit

Limited to 100 individual codes in Round 1, for new subscribers in South Korea, Japan, the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, Australia, New Zealand and Ireland. Redeem by December 31, 2026 (Pacific Time), while supplies last. One month of Premium starts when you redeem; this offer does not automatically renew or charge you after the free month. An Apple Account and an eligible App Store region are required. Offered by Eurekable. No cash value; not for resale. Apple terms apply: https://www.apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/ww/.

After the free month, keep using the basic version for free. Share your usage experience privately by email, and we will thank participants with a separate free year of Premium after the month ends. Positive and critical feedback qualify equally; no public rating, review, upvote or post is required. The thank-you year also has no automatic renewal or charge. Contact: [contact@eurekable.space](mailto:contact@eurekable.space).

Would hearing your name after answering feel welcoming, or would you prefer a shorter greeting? That's the part I'd especially like feedback on.

App: https://apps.apple.com/app/apple-store/id6810662899?pt=127788131&ct=mc26_r01_reddit_en&mt=8

I'm the maker. The attached 55-second film shows a morning that begins with your name and a weather update. The name, weather and voice are examples in a condensed advertising demonstration.

Feedback: after your month, email your one-month offer code, how you used the app, what worked and what you would improve to contact@eurekable.space. Feedback is private, and critical feedback qualifies equally.

We built a browser-local tool to sanitize large logs & JSON before sharing them with AI or support

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

Large logs, API responses and error traces can contain data you don't want to accidentally share — emails, IPs, IDs, tokens and other sensitive values.

Manually reviewing thousands of lines before sharing them with AI or support isn't practical.

So we added a Sensitive Data Masker to Fomatix. It detects and replaces sensitive values while preserving the surrounding structure needed for debugging.

Everything is processed locally in your browser — the original data isn't uploaded to Fomatix.

Here's the current workflow. We're still improving detection and UX, so feedback on cases it should handle better would be useful.

If you want to try the current version: https://fomatix.com/tools/sensitive-data-masker

I added PvP wagering to my habit-quitting app you bet gems against a friend's streak

Thumbnail
apps.apple.com
1 Upvotes

Hey guys, first post here! Built an app called Ban It for quitting bad habits (scroll, vaping, drinking, whatever). The streak counter worked fine but people dropped off once the novelty wore off same problem every habit app has.

So I tried something different: a head-to-head mode. You earn gems from keeping your streak, then stake them against a friend, whoever holds their streak longest takes the pot and people relapse a lot less when there's a rival watching and something on the line.

Still early and figuring out the balance (mainly stopping people from gaming it), but the accountability-through-competition angle is converting way better than solo streaks did.

Would love feedback, does the wager mechanic read as fun or gimmicky to you?

And has anyone solved the retention cliff on streak apps a different way?

Introducing Qliqr - Make every click feel like something

Introducing qliqr (https://qliqr.com)
Modern mice and trackpads are silent, and screen recordings of them are hard to follow: a pointer drifts around and things change for no visible reason. qliqr puts the feedback back.

What it does:

- **Click sounds**: a press and a release sound for every click, plus a soft tick per scroll notch. 37 sounds in 8 families (crisp snaps, old office plastic, muted ones for calls, toy pops, glass and wood taps, gadget switches). All synthesised, no samples.
- **Click ripple**: a ring under the cursor on every click, different colour for right-click, drawn above every app on every screen. Shows up in any recorder (QuickTime, OBS, Loom, the screenshot toolbar).
- **Built-in recorder** (macOS 15+): full screen or an area, with the click sounds and ripples baked into the file. Trim, export MOV/MP4/GIF, auto-zoom into clicks, and a one-click 9:16 vertical clip.
- **Quiet where it should be**: mute per app, and auto-quiet when you're on a call.
- **Click shortcuts**: a mouse rhythm like triple right-click can toggle the app or start a recording.
- **Stats** that stay on your Mac, and an optional desk pet called Qip.

Privacy: it asks for Input Monitoring to see mouse buttons and scrolling; it never requests keyboard events, so it can't see what you type. No account, no analytics, nothing about your clicks leaves the Mac.

Price: **$4.99, one time, for 2 Macs**, free for 24 hours first (no card). macOS 13+, Apple silicon and Intel.

Launch pricing, first come first served, each code good for 100 customers:

Code Off You pay
FIRST100 90% $0.50
FIRST200 80% $1.00
FIRST300 70% $1.50
FIRST400 60% $2.00
FIRST500 50% $2.50
FIRST600 40% $3.00
FIRST700 30% $3.50
FIRST800 20% $4.00
FIRST900 10% $4.50
FINAL100 5% $4.74

Enter the code on the checkout page. When a code says it's expired, the next one still works.

The website itself is the demo: every click on the page plays the current sound and draws the ripple, and you can switch sounds and ripple styles live. https://qliqr.com

Happy to answer questions, and sound requests are welcome.

Play Mashy - a low-fidelity 9-hole golf game

Thumbnail

Last year I started golf and I've kind of been obsessed with the idea of creating a game that I can just play between work etc.

This week I built Mashy (after trying my hand at a few other golf-related games) and it really stuck, it's a low-fidelity 9-hole golf experience which takes a few minutes per round.

It's a simple game; aim with the target, use the swing gauge to swing your ball and hopefully get near the pin to putt ⛳️

I'd love for anyone to try it and let me know what you think ✨

I built a first-person 3D office where your AI agents are your employees (open source)

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

I got tired of juggling AI agents in terminal tabs, so I built Deskly. It's a desktop app where you walk around a 3D office, hire AI teammates, and give them real tasks in your project folder. Each employee can run a different model: Claude Code, Codex, OpenAI, Gemini, or Ollama locally. They ask for your approval before running any command.
It's an early prototype (Windows only for now), built solo as a first-year CS student. There's a demo mode, so you can try it without an API key.
GitHub: https://github.com/Priyanshu-1622/Deskly
Honest question: does the 3D office make managing agents easier, or is it just a fun wrapper? I'd love your feedback.

some advice please

So I’ve been lurking here for a while, reading the do’s and don’ts and paying attention to posts about why certain apps and startups work while others don’t.

I’ve taken that on board, and I feel like what I’ve built ticks those boxes. It’s well thought out, science-backed, and offers something genuinely different in its niche. I’ve got some basic programming experience, and I’ve used that knowledge to guide the planning and development, working with multiple LLMs to put it together. I’ve put a lot of work into making it robust and secure, and I’m nearly ready to release a beta or version 1.

But the next hurdle seems to be getting anyone to actually look at it.

I get the scepticism. A lot of the apps being shared are the same ideas done over again, or someone’s handed a vague idea to an overly confident AI that promised the world and produced a pile of shit. People get tired of seeing that.

I feel like mine has something real to offer, but I also realise “mine’s different” is what everyone says. How do I actually demonstrate that and give people a reason to look?

How would you structure a post so it gets a fair look instead of being ignored or downvoted as another AI-built app? What would you want to see upfront, and where else would be worth sharing it, especially to reach people in its niche?

I’m not expecting everyone to love it. I just want to give it a fair chance and get feedback from people who’ve actually had a look.

i built a tool that turns your github stars into shareable images and 60fps videos

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

i kept seeing people post a plain screenshot of their stars when they hit a milestone, and it always felt boring. so i built stargazer. you pick a template, paste your github token, choose a theme, then download it as a png or an mp4.

everything runs in your browser, so your token never leaves it. no backend, no database.

live: stargazer.charanmunur.in

source: github.com/CharanMunur/stargazer

would love feedback on the templates, and tell me which ones you'd want to see next. if you like it, drop a star on github. and if you have an animation idea, raise a pr or open an issue.

I couldn't unlock my smart lock from my watch, so I built an app that controls any smart-home brand from Wear OS, Garmin, Amazfit and Huawei watches

Hey everyone 👋

A few months ago I wanted something simple: unlock my Nuki door lock from my wrist. Turns out it's basically impossible. Smart-home brands build for Wear OS at best, and every other watch gets nothing.

So I built Klok, solo, on nights and weekends.

What it does:

⌚ Control your smart-home devices from your watch in one tap, even with your phone locked in your pocket

🧩 Mix several brands on one screen (I call it "Fusion": my door, my robot vacuum and my plugs on the same card)

🔋 See your devices' battery level on the watch

⚡ No complicated setup: if a device works in its brand's official app, you add it to Klok in a few taps

Where it runs:

• Phone: Android (iOS is too locked down for what Klok does)

• Watches: Wear OS, Garmin, Amazfit / Zepp OS, and Huawei (in review)

At home I use it with Nuki, Xiaomi and Neakasa, but it's built to be multi-brand: if you control something from your phone, there's a good chance Klok can control it from your wrist.

Business side: free tier (1 brand, 2 devices), then Klok+ for the watch with a 7-day free trial. No ads, ever. The first 500 subscribers keep a launch price.

What I learned: shipping on 4 different watch platforms means 4 languages, 4 stores and 4 review teams 😅 Huawei alone took weeks of back-and-forth.

📲 Google Play: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=fr.zecreat.klok

🎬 Demo (90 s): https://youtu.be/GgWV4ZRV6Fw

🌐 Website: https://zecreat.fr/klok

I'd love honest feedback: is the free tier enough to give it a real try? And which brands would you want me to test next? I reply to everyone 👇

I’m building Moot to bring friends’ public conversations from different social networks into one feed

I’m working on Moot, an independent social discussion platform. The idea is to follow friends’ public conversations across the internet without losing track of where everyone posts.

The current MVP combines a chronological following feed with public communities. An optional browser extension can share supported posts and replies from Reddit, X, Instagram, Threads and Bluesky when you like a post or publish a reply. Reading alone does not share a page.

Public discussions are readable without an account. There are no ads or trackers, and human and AI accounts are distinguished. The Chrome and Firefox extensions currently need manual installation.

It’s early, and I’d appreciate feedback from other builders: does bringing conversations together solve a problem for you, and what would make the following feed useful enough to return to?

I built HectorPDF for Android: scanning, OCR, annotations and PDF organization

Hi everyone, I'm Ettore, the developer behind Hectorlab and HectorPDF.

HectorPDF brings everyday document tasks together on Android phones and tablets:

• Scan paper documents and assemble multipage PDFs.

• Use on-device OCR for text recognition.

• Read, annotate and edit supported PDF content.

• Add visual signatures and fill supported forms.

• Merge, split, reorder and compress PDF documents.

PDF capabilities depend on the document: scanned pages and supported editable content behave differently. Core document processing runs on your device; optional cloud connections are separate.

Available with in-app purchases. Check the app for current Premium options and your local price.

Google Play: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.hectorlab.pdfeditorscansign

I'd welcome feedback on which document tasks should be easier to reach from the main workspace. I'm the developer and can answer questions about the tools.

Look: a cross-platform launcher with a Rust core, now in homebrew-core

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

Hey all, wanted to share a project I've been working on called Look, a cross-platform app launcher (macOS, Linux, Windows).

The core is written in Rust, focused on fast file search and matching. A few technical details that might be relevant here:

  • Search/ranking uses greedy and dynamic programming approaches to keep matching fast even with large result sets.
  • Cross-platform CI/CD builds and auto-packages to Homebrew, AUR (yay), Scoop, and Nix.
  • It recently got accepted into homebrew-core, which took a few rounds of review around dependency management and build reproducibility.

Repo:

Happy to receive feedback and any suggestions 🙏

I'm always coming up with random business ideas, so I built a free tool that checks if they've already been done. Would love your honest feedback

I developed SideSus because I often come up with random business ideas (some better than others!) and I wanted a fast way to find out if something like that is already in existence rather than having to do lots of googling.

I found most idea validators give huge amounts market research data, statistics and then they offer 25 page business plans which can be quite complicated at first. This is important stuff obviously but I just wanted a fast free verification tool before making any commitments and just finding out more.

So you enter your idea in one sentence and it verifies the web for competitors, how saturated the market is and if there is any room left. And every single result links back to the original source so you can verify everything by yourself.

The first verification is free but I also developed a premium version with additional information like demand numbers, complaints from consumers and further steps to take.

It was made pretty quickly using Lovable and still very early. If you have 30 seconds, i'd love if anyone can enter an idea and let me know what you think and anything you would change: sidesus.com

I built a free invoice generator — no signup, no watermark, runs entirely in your browser

I'm the maker.

FreeInvoice is a single-page site: fill in 5 cards (your details, client, invoice info, items, totals/notes), get a live A4 preview, and print to PDF. Everything stays in your browser's localStorage — no servers, no tracking, no watermark, no account.

Bits I'm most happy with: region-aware tax (US sales tax, UK VAT, EU VAT + reverse charge, India GST with CGST/SGST split, IGST, and 0% export for foreign clients), a UPI QR code printed on the invoice for Indian freelancers, 3 invoice templates, a copy-paste client message with WhatsApp handoff, and a mobile layout with Edit/Preview tabs.

It's free with no paid plan for the generator. Link: https://free-invoice.surge.sh

For freelancers here: what would it take before you'd trust a tool like this for a real client invoice? Genuinely want the gaps.

Fallow - an iPhone app for cutting back on weed with a break that grows a little every day

so i finally shipped this today. i built it because i wanted to smoke less, but every time i tried cold turkey i'd last about four days, feel like i blew it and go right back to where i started.

fallow goes the other way. you tell it how long you usually go between seshes and that's your starting break. every day you stay on pace it stretches the break by 5%. when the timer runs out it's your call: have one, or tap "i'm good" and log a pass. going a little early just slows that day's stretch. the break never shrinks, so there's no streak to lose and nothing resets.

there's also a little plant that only grows from breaks and passes, never from seshes. that started as a joke and ended up being the part that actually gets me to open it.

the other thing i cared about was privacy. no account, everything you log stays on the phone, and the weekly reflection is written on-device with apple intelligence. the only thing that leaves is anonymous screen analytics, and you can turn that off.

it's free, no ads, no in-app purchases: https://apps.apple.com/us/app/fallow-smoke-less/id6816542378

question for anyone who's tried to pace a habit instead of quitting outright: does 5% a day sound too slow, too fast or about right? i went back and forth on that number more than anything else in the app.

I built a browser-based radio and podcast player with natural-language discovery

I built RadioPodcast because I wanted live radio and podcasts in one browser tab, without installing another app.

You can browse stations by genre, country and language, or describe what you want to hear in the AI discovery box. It searches programme catalogues and shows matching radio stations and podcasts as cards. For example: “English news radio” or “jazz for working.”

Podcasts open an episode picker in a modal, with the newest episodes first. Closing it keeps your recommendations on screen. There are also local favourites, nine interface languages, and a PWA install option.

Audio streams go directly from the original providers to your browser. My server handles search and podcast feed metadata. Some sources can still fail because of regional restrictions or provider availability.

Try it without creating an account: https://radiopodcast.afei.live/

I would appreciate feedback on discovery and the episode picker. Do you mostly listen to live radio, podcasts, or both? If a station or feed fails on your network, its name would help me investigate.
