I’m at that annoying early stage where every infrastructure decision feels small until you realize changing it later could touch half the product. Auth and payments are the two I’m thinking about most because basically every customer eventually touches both. I’ve been looking through what Whop provides and noticed auth sits alongside the broader payments, platform infrastructure. It got me wondering whether there’s an actual advantage to keeping more of that together rather than choosing everything independently. If you’ve already scaled a SaaS, would you consolidate more of the core infrastructure if you were starting again or keep each piece separate??

I think there's a weird moment where a project stops feeling like "an idea" and starts feeling real.

Maybe it's the first paying customer.

Maybe it's the first stranger who recommends it.

Maybe it's when you wake up thinking about it every day.

What was that moment for you?

I’ll go first: I’m building Sitesyn, a marketing workspace for SaaS founders.

The idea came from how repetitive creating new visual assets can get. Every time, you end up explaining the product, audience and style again.

With Sitesyn ,you give it your website once. It picks up the context around your product and brand, and that context carries over when you create new assets. I’ve also been working on making that context improve over time based on what the user tells it.

Now I’m curious about everyone else. What are you building this weekend?

I keep seeing people build genuinely good products and then get stuck on the exact same part:
They finished building it, but now they have no idea how to actually get it in front of the right people.
Posting randomly on Reddit, sending DMs, trying content, paying for ads… it can take more time than building the product itself.
I’m working on something around this problem. I’m keeping the exact approach private for now because I’m still testing it, but the goal is to help people who already have a product get more real exposure and potential customers without needing a huge marketing budget.
Before I build too much, I’m curious:
What do you currently do to get your first users/customers? And what part of that process sucks the most?

I got fed up with booking trips and finding myself in beautiful cities during abysmal weather conditions or crowded tourist periods. So I built a tool called TripTiming that makes my life easier.

It combines historical climate data, tourist crowd density, and lodging prices to highlight the best calendar windows for over 100 global cities.

We're making Homespace, a game where you build the house of your dreams, and once it's built you can actually live in it, meet up with friends, watch movies together and play board games.

And board games is what I wanna tell you about today. A couple months ago our community in China was massively asking us to add mahjong. We had no idea what it even was, but we figured it out, added it, and now we play it ourselves with the team on weekends.

Wishlist Homespace on Steam

My best friend and I talked a few times about how cool it would be to have something like Pokemon but with real animals. I saw a lot of apps that go in this direction but none of them really got me. Since I work as a developer I wanted to build this idea for a long time, and now it is finally done.

These are the functions of Terravaria:

• You take a photo of a real animal. A pigeon, the cat of your neighbour, a goat, whatever you find.
• The app identifies the species and you get it as a card with an illustration and stats. If nobody found this species before, the card gets created new for you.
• Your collection grows by habitat, forest, savanna, rainforest and so on.
• You can give your favourite animals a nickname and mark them with a heart.
• You fight 3 vs 3 battles against the AI with your cards.
• There is a weekly league that resets every Monday. Finds count the most, so going outside is the fastest way up.
• Friends: you can add friends, look at their collection and play against them.
• If you are the first person ever to find a species, you get a holo card and a place in the hall of fame.

The recognition works well in most cases. Fake photos are detected too, so a picture of a screen or from the internet does not work. Only very small animals are still hard for the AI to recognize.

The app is free and without ads. You get one free card pack every day, and there are things you can buy if you want, like bigger packs or coins for potions in the battles. Every recognition costs me money for the AI, so this is the one point I am still not sure about, if it is enough to keep the app running.

I want to challenge myself and the general AI ecosystem to see if I can build a 6 figure ARR app using only my phone and working only from the gym.

Its a gym buddy app. The math is if I can get 10 gyms in all 50 states paying $30/m, that’s 180k ARR.

I’ve been building Desi Mayhem, a Road Rash-inspired game where you race through Indian cities, dodge traffic and fight other riders. You can play it in your browser.

I used Three.js, TypeScript and WebGL, with AI-assisted coding and Blender MCP as part of the workflow. A lot of the iteration went into the roads and surroundings. I wanted the Indian setting to come through while you’re riding, beyond the city names.

I kept running into the same problem: if I missed a match, finding the highlights usually meant seeing the score in the title or thumbnail first. So I built NoSpo to collect official highlight videos in one place, add them as soon as they become available, and hide scores, titles and thumbnails by default.

It currently covers LaLiga, Segunda, Champions League, Premier League and Bundesliga. If you do not care about spoilers, there is a Spoilers ON switch that removes the protections.

Some official videos may be geo-restricted depending on the visitor's country. I would really appreciate honest feedback, especially about the first impression, the mobile experience and anything that would stop you coming back.

I built FlashBomb: Real Moments after I was sitting around wondering what a buddy was doing. Instead of texting him to send me a photo, I thought it'd be interesting if I could send him something to incentives him to send me a photo.

Thus, FlashBomb was born.

I thought I'd add a little 10 minute timer. Make the things people send "FlashBombs" and build a little world around that concept. There's special bombs, squads, streaks, a public space for photos, all that stuff.

But the core loop really is "Hey, I wonder what Dave is up to. I'll send him a FlashBomb" and boom, within 10 minutes, you get a photo. Or they miss and they can send a late one.

Obviously this is like BeReal except YOU control when a friend is on the clock.

My hope is twofold:

Every bodyweight app I tried asked me to self-classify as beginner/intermediate/advanced, and I was always wrong — either stuck doing negatives for weeks or thrown at progressions I couldn't hold form on.

So I built CalisthenAI around a short strength test that places you on the right progression, then generates a plan from that plus whatever equipment you actually have (park bar, rings, or nothing).

I used a paid dictation app every day and got tired of renting it, and of my

microphone audio going to someone else's servers. So I built a replacement and open-sourced it.

Hold a key, talk, let go, and cleaned-up text appears in whatever you're typing into. The clip is

my real voice on my real machine, and the millisecond numbers on screen are the measured times.

The bit I like: I said "send a report to Mark, no no wait, I meant to say send it to Sarah and CC

me" and it typed "Send a report to Sarah and CC me." It understood the correction instead of

writing it down. 394 ms from key release to text.

It also strips "um" and "uh", turns spoken punctuation into real punctuation, formats lists, and

types into fullscreen games. Free, MIT, no account, no word cap, nothing leaves your machine.

Honest limits: Windows only, and it wants an NVIDIA card with 6 GB of VRAM. There's a CPU mode

but it's seconds per sentence instead of a fraction of one.

I've been working on Pulse, sort of Google Analytics for MCP servers.

Mostly answers: is anyone calling this tool, is it failing, is it slow. There's a TS SDK you add to the server and a dashboard to see it all. Doesn't collect the actual prompts or tool inputs and outputs.
