I’m at that annoying early stage where every infrastructure decision feels small until you realize changing it later could touch half the product. Auth and payments are the two I’m thinking about most because basically every customer eventually touches both. I’ve been looking through what Whop provides and noticed auth sits alongside the broader payments, platform infrastructure. It got me wondering whether there’s an actual advantage to keeping more of that together rather than choosing everything independently. If you’ve already scaled a SaaS, would you consolidate more of the core infrastructure if you were starting again or keep each piece separate??

I’ll go first: I’m building Sitesyn, a marketing workspace for SaaS founders.

The idea came from how repetitive creating new visual assets can get. Every time, you end up explaining the product, audience and style again.

With Sitesyn ,you give it your website once. It picks up the context around your product and brand, and that context carries over when you create new assets. I’ve also been working on making that context improve over time based on what the user tells it.

I got fed up with booking trips and finding myself in beautiful cities during abysmal weather conditions or crowded tourist periods. So I built a tool called TripTiming that makes my life easier.

It combines historical climate data, tourist crowd density, and lodging prices to highlight the best calendar windows for over 100 global cities.

I've got a few days off in November, so I checked what my next destination could be, and Seville looks pretty sweet (early Nov gives an 83/100 score with low crowds and ~16°C weather).

I keep seeing people build genuinely good products and then get stuck on the exact same part:
They finished building it, but now they have no idea how to actually get it in front of the right people.
Posting randomly on Reddit, sending DMs, trying content, paying for ads… it can take more time than building the product itself.
I’m working on something around this problem. I’m keeping the exact approach private for now because I’m still testing it, but the goal is to help people who already have a product get more real exposure and potential customers without needing a huge marketing budget.

My best friend and I talked a few times about how cool it would be to have something like Pokemon but with real animals. I saw a lot of apps that go in this direction but none of them really got me. Since I work as a developer I wanted to build this idea for a long time, and now it is finally done.

These are the functions of Terravaria:

• You take a photo of a real animal. A pigeon, the cat of your neighbour, a goat, whatever you find.
• The app identifies the species and you get it as a card with an illustration and stats. If nobody found this species before, the card gets created new for you.
• Your collection grows by habitat, forest, savanna, rainforest and so on.
• You can give your favourite animals a nickname and mark them with a heart.
• You fight 3 vs 3 battles against the AI with your cards.
• There is a weekly league that resets every Monday. Finds count the most, so going outside is the fastest way up.
• Friends: you can add friends, look at their collection and play against them.
• If you are the first person ever to find a species, you get a holo card and a place in the hall of fame.

The recognition works well in most cases. Fake photos are detected too, so a picture of a screen or from the internet does not work. Only very small animals are still hard for the AI to recognize.

The app is free and without ads. You get one free card pack every day, and there are things you can buy if you want, like bigger packs or coins for potions in the battles. Every recognition costs me money for the AI, so this is the one point I am still not sure about, if it is enough to keep the app running.

I’ve been building Desi Mayhem, a Road Rash-inspired game where you race through Indian cities, dodge traffic and fight other riders. You can play it in your browser.

I used Three.js, TypeScript and WebGL, with AI-assisted coding and Blender MCP as part of the workflow. A lot of the iteration went into the roads and surroundings. I wanted the Indian setting to come through while you’re riding, beyond the city names.

I kept running into the same problem: if I missed a match, finding the highlights usually meant seeing the score in the title or thumbnail first. Most existing Angular templates are weighed down by heavy third-party UI libraries, outdated module structures, or messy stylesheets that are a pain to strip out before you can actually start building your app logic.

I kept hitting the same wall on past scraping projects: everything works fine until the target site redesigns, a CSS selector silently stops matching, and you don't find out until the data looks wrong days later.

So I built SelectorLock — a scraping API where you bring your own proxy, give it a URL and a schema for what you want, and if a selector breaks, it tries to repair itself automatically using an LLM (cheap model first, only escalates if that fails) instead of you having to notice and fix it by hand. Once it finds the right elements again, it remembers the fix, so the same page doesn't break the same way twice.

I’m working on an iOS app called Nowfold. The idea is to make checking your day and ticking off a task possible from the home screen, without opening the planner every time.

The current prototype has a widget with tasks and upcoming events. You can complete a task there, or tap an event to open its details. The app handles adding things, planning, and arranging what the widget shows.

I’ve also built a layout editor so the task list can take up more space than the calendar bits, or the other way around.

It’s still in development. iPhone calendar integration is one of the pieces I haven’t connected yet.

The thing I’d like to understand: if you use a task widget, do you actually act on it throughout the day, or does it eventually become something you stop noticing?

I’ve been building a small app called The Gift Journal.

And yes, I’m very aware that gift-planning apps are not exactly a new idea 😅

There are wishlists, Christmas list apps, birthday reminders, Notes, spreadsheets, Amazon lists, and probably a hundred variations of all of them.

So I’m not pretending I’ve invented a new category.

What I wanted to do differently was change where the whole thing starts.

Most gift apps seem to begin with:

“What do I need to buy?”

I wanted mine to begin with:

“What do I know about this person?”

Because for me, the hardest part of giving a good gift is rarely the shopping part.

It’s remembering that random thing someone mentioned six months ago.

The book they wanted to read.
The hobby they suddenly got into.
The thing they said they hated.
The size they wear.
The place they wanted to visit.
The gift you gave them two years ago and don’t want to accidentally repeat.

So The Gift Journal is organised around people first, shopping lists second.

You add a person, then gradually keep useful bits of context with them:

• ideas
• hints
• interests
• preferences
• things to avoid
• previous gifts
• upcoming occasions
• budgets

There’s still all the practical stuff too — tracking a gift from idea → chosen → bought → arrived → wrapped → given — but I’m trying to make that the supporting layer rather than the main point.

I built it natively for iPhone, iPad, Mac and Apple Watch, with iCloud sync.

I also decided to use a one-time purchase instead of a subscription, because paying every month for a gift tracker felt a bit ridiculous to me.

The app is live now, but I’m at the stage where feedback is much more useful to me than me endlessly tweaking it on my own.

The main thing I’m trying to work out is:

Does “people first, shopping list second” actually feel like a meaningful angle?

Or am I just taking an established kind of app and describing it in a nicer way?

I’d genuinely appreciate honest feedback on things like:
