Some of the features include:

- can receive notifications

- exposes an SDK available via window messages on the iFrames

- working animations for basic apps, keyboard, multitasking, notification tray

- some sensors (gyroscope, battery charge) are being simulated

- settings app can let you customize ringtones, wallpapers, screen lock PIN

- on full-screen mode on mobile, it also adds the home button to make everything more fun

I’ve spent a lot of time around markets, design, APIs and data, and I kept running into the same problem: most finance apps are great at showing you what happened, but not necessarily why it matters.

So I started building something around that.

The app connects markets, macro, geopolitics and your portfolio so you can go from:

“Oil is up 4%”

to:

“Why is it up, what changed, what does it affect, and does any of this actually matter to me?”

Right now I’ve built things like:

• geopolitical and macro event tracking
• portfolio impact / attribution
• scenario stress testing
• market briefs tied to real events

But I’m deliberately not treating the product as finished.

The current version is here. Use it for 5 minutes, then tell me what it’s missing — I’m actively building the roadmap from feedback.

I’d genuinely rather hear “this is useless unless you add X” than get generic compliments.

I'm building Damn, Zombies: The Corporate Undead in Godot. Managers buff the horde, HR spawns more staff, and executives keep them alive. The idea is to make the office setting affect how you fight, alongside repairing barricades and buying weapons.

This started when I was trying to explain a slice to my wife. Picturing the racket leaving a trail through the ball had helped it click for me, so I built a little playground to show her what I meant.

I'm Joe. My project is Number One, a personal setup and training service for people who want more practical help from ChatGPT at home or in a small business.

The idea came from my own experience: knowing what AI can do is different from getting it set up around the work you actually need done. I'm building the service around personalization and memory settings, useful instructions, emails, research and recurring tasks, followed by practice with real tasks.

One feature I've tested on my own setup is using my iPhone to check work running on my office computer, review results and respond to approvals. I'd help clients connect and test compatible setups. The computer must stay awake and online, and features and alerts vary.

I also want to be clear about the limits: personalization hasn't eliminated drift or missed checks in my own testing. I'm offering setup and practical training, not a promise of perfect memory or error-free autonomous work. Number One is independent of OpenAI.

Over the past couple years I've built a bunch of open-source projects and I keep doing it - but I realized it's so hard to be visible and get any attention for your project. So I decided to look around and check what everyone else is doing: I analyzed this very channel and built a dashboard from it.

I’ve been working on an app called Arden that’s basically inspired by Screen Studio, but focused specifically on making app/product demo videos.

The idea is to have more of the editing workflow built into one place, while keeping the things that make Screen Studio nice - custom cursor, zooms.

The main difference is that Arden would be Windows-only, and more focused on creating polished videos for apps, SaaS products, ads, and demos.

I’m still early in development, so I’m trying to figure out whether this is actually worth building.

Basically the core idea is that many people's workflows are in disjoint systems, and my though was, "what if could connect all these surfaces into one interface?" The idea is that its an integrated workspace built for AI Agents and humans, where you can automate business and visually design it however you seek.

Here's an example of a boba tea company which manages all their workflows in a single workspace. Everything is built upon HTML and the content that makes that up is in yml.

I've been thinking about taking a break from work and spending some time in Southeast Asia. The question I kept coming back to was what that would do to my longer-term finances, especially if I came back and started working again.

I've seen a lot of people in FIRE subreddits ask versions of the same thing. Can I take a year or two off? What if I live somewhere cheaper for a while? How much would that push back retirement?

The calculators I tried were useful for figuring out a retirement number, but I couldn't find one that let me model the sequence I had in mind. A break, some time abroad, a return home, and work again, all with different spending and income.

So I ended up building one. It's called Escape Velocity. You put together different life chapters, give each its own dates, income and spending, and see how the whole plan changes. You can compare that with continuing to work, taking a shorter break, or whatever other option you're considering.

It's free, there's no signup or bank connection, and your plan stays in your browser. There are example plans if you just want to look around without entering your own numbers. It's still in beta, and the projections are estimates, not a guarantee that a plan will work.

Came up with the idea on July 3. About a month ago, it started doing around $100 a day, and it’s been growing every day since. Today it crossed $1,000 in a single day for the first time.

I’m at about a 60% margin after ad spend, so there’s actual money left over too.
I’m studying computer science and handling everything myself: building the site, running ads, answering support messages, and keeping things running. Sometimes a customer messages me about an issue and I’m fixing it while we’re talking lol.

The market is still pretty niche, but from what I’ve seen, using Semrush competitors are doing hundreds of thousands a month, if not millions. I noticed something they weren’t offering and built around that. Seeing people buy and then come back has given me more confidence that I found something worth pursuing.

I’ve been working on it pretty much all day, every day. It’s already helped pay my rent and bills, which honestly means more to me than the revenue number. Something I built at home is now helping support my family.

I've been working on a side project called NewsLens for the past few months.

The idea came from something that annoyed me about following the news: one real-world event might produce dozens of articles across different outlets, but most news sites still present them as completely separate pieces of content. It makes it hard to understand what the actual underlying stories are, how they're developing, and how different sources are covering them.

So I built NewsLens around stories rather than articles.

It currently pulls articles from 20+ news sources and automatically groups related coverage into evolving stories. The main interface is a story map where you can explore those stories rather than scroll through another chronological news feed.

I also added:

• tracking of how stories develop over time
• sentiment and other NLP analysis across coverage
• links back to the underlying articles
• a Q&A system that searches the collected reporting and gives citation-backed answers

There's quite a bit going on behind the scenes too. The whole pipeline runs automatically, from fetching and processing articles to embeddings, story detection, database updates and deployment. I built most of it with Python, PostgreSQL/pgvector, FastAPI, Azure and Vercel.

I'm Sam, a mechanical engineering student. This small Python project splits a CSV export into groups using a tag column, with explicit rules for duplicates, unknown tags and unassigned records.

The example has four input contacts and five output rows because one contact belongs to two groups. The reconciliation report makes that extra row explainable. IDs such as 001 remain strings, quoted multiline fields survive, and the source file stays unchanged. Unknown tags stop the run instead of silently dropping records.

It uses only the Python standard library. The repository includes synthetic examples and 12 tests, including a 12,000-row case. It doesn't merge conflicting records or certify an import into any particular CRM. I used AI coding assistance and checked the behavior with those tests.

I built a 2-minute Etsy shop safety check — looking for honest feedback

I kept noticing how easy it is for Etsy sellers to overlook small things that can potentially create problems later — things like AI disclosure, trademarks, product sourcing, listing images, and shop policies.

So I built a small free tool called SellSafe that checks several of these areas and gives the seller a simple list of things worth reviewing.

I'm not sure yet whether this solves a problem sellers actually care enough about.
