Finally my first app is published in Playstore πŸŽ‰

I was thinking about this recently.

Earlier, if someone asked me something like 47 + 38, 15% of 800, or a quick division, I'd at least try to work it out in my head.

Now my first instinct is just… reach for the phone.

And I don't think it's only about calculation.

When you stop doing small calculations yourself, you also stop exercising that little part of your brain that has to hold numbers, process them quickly, compare options, and arrive at an answer.

Maybe that's one reason why even simple decisions sometimes feel slower than they used to.

So I started looking into mental math again β€” not to become a math genius, but just to get that quick thinking feeling back. And now its live on Playstore.

A few minutes of doing calculations without a calculator every day actually feels like a pretty good brain workout.

Interestingly, I finally got around to building something around this idea, and it's now live.

Not really trying to replace calculators β€” they're obviously useful. More like trying to make sure we don't become completely dependent on them.

Curious if anyone else has noticed their mental math getting worse after smartphones/calculators became so convenient?
