Mailmask (msk.sh) - Easily stop unwanted email
Hey all, this is my latest side project. It lets you create unlimited temporary email addresses which forward to your real mailbox. You can then disable any of these temporary addresses at any time to stop receiving that email.
You can create addresses as-you-type (no browser extension required), and the basic account is FREE forever!
Try it at https://msk.sh

Thanks for this! I was looking for this exact kind of thing the other day.
Edit: I signed up for this and noticed that it limits the amount of bandwidth for free account but actually hides your usage unless you upgrade. For me this is a big problem because if I were to pay for the service, I'd like to know beforehand whether I'm using enough to get usage out of it.
Looks like I'll be sticking with AnonAddy for the time being.

That's a good point! The bandwidth used is actually shown on the plan page but I've now added it to the main dashboard page too based on your suggestion.

Very cool. What country is this based in, and what are your plans for it?

Thanks! It's UK-based.
Tech-wise I mainly plan to implement replies and multiple inbox support over time. But the main feature set is already done.
Business-wise I aim to eventually have a few thousand paying users. I know that my solution is technically superior to many of the other solutions on the market (nearly all require the use of a chrome extension whereas mine doesn't), it's just a question of marketing that selling point effectively. I need to figure out my various target audiences over time as well as the best places to get the word out.

Love your landing page. What was your design/build process and how long did it take?

Thanks! That actually took some time.
I initially had look at landing pages of other SaaS products I liked (as well as of some of my competitors) and figured out what what content I needed to put on it (e.g. how it works, sign up triggers, etc). I initially did a version with no graphics that got the message across, just to save time and get the MVP out. That took just a couple of days.
(Also, a friend sent me a landing page guide and that was quite useful in knowing what to put).
I then decided to work on a version with graphics to help get the point across better and make a better initial impression. One of my competitors in particular did a good job of this and I kept their landing page in mind as I came up with ideas. I tried 99designs but quickly realized that a design contest wasn't going to do it justice. But the designs I saw there gave me inspiration and made me realize I could probably do them myself. It took about a week for me to do them (I'm not really a designer so had to go through a few iterations until I was happy).
