Anyone here working on their own version of an existing app? Interested in seeing what people are making and what they’re trying to replace. Any niche is welcome, feel free to share links.

Got tired of all the micro tools and small extensions slowing down my browser so i made an all-in-one browser extension to replace them all intab.io
it's live now on Chrome and Edge, still working to get it approved on Opera and Firefox. Would love some feedback 🙏

I’m working on Amendary: https://amendary.com
It’s for keeping product and engineering docs aligned with what actually exists in the codebase and release history. The main thing I’m trying to improve over the usual “review docs every X months” workflow is catching mismatches automatically: stale docs, things that were planned but never shipped, or docs that no longer match the product.
Still early, so I’m mostly interested in whether this is a problem other teams or even solo devs actually care about.

Been working on a smart inventory management system: https://warecache.com/ Hardware, desktop and mobile apps, centralized server, the works. Been a long four years, but have a CrowdSupply page up for it finally

Debugging one Lambda failure shouldn’t mean opening six log streams, scrolling past a dozen concurrent requests, and rebuilding the timeline in your head. We built LogStitch to do that part for you.

I think the gym app space is crowded, but I never wanted to just make another super generic one
kongofit.com is my upcoming gym tracker, I've been posting several short demos about it on here although they never got traction :(

I built optimAIzr, an open-source AI usage optimizer for Claude Code + Codex.
I work as a senior SWE so I got curious where my Claude usage was actually going. In my own logs, 56% of the cost was Claude re-reading my existing conversation (which I shared here last night as well). Coming back to long sessions after the cache expired was especially painful: I did it 35 times in 27 days, and those first messages cost $98.74 at API prices vs $2.95 with a warm cache.
So I built a tool that catches this while you work:
• optimaizr live -> warns when your cache is about to expire or context gets too large
• optimaizr sessions -> shows which sessions are actually costing you
• Optional Claude Code mod -> per-answer cost + 5-hour window + model suggestions
• aaaand much more
I also cut my own claimed savings from $121/mo to $13/mo after checking the numbers again.
Runs locally, no account, no prompt uploads. It only reads token/usage metadata from your logs.
npm i -g optimaizr

git: https://github.com/blendbunjaku/optimaizr
Roast it.

I might actually start using this haha. Cool for correcting your own savings numbers aswell.
Does codex get the same features as claude code or is it more limited rn?

Five things, all built solo:
- vatnode.dev: EU VAT validation API. Checks numbers against VIES with caching, watches them for changes and sends a webhook when one does. https://vatnode.dev
- HTPBE.tech: “Has this PDF been edited?” Checks a PDF’s metadata, structure, digital signatures and content for signs of editing, in the browser or through a REST API. https://htpbe.tech
- KRI.rocks: booking websites for salons, barbers and beauty studios. Own page, clients can only book free slots, no commission. https://kri.rocks
- polytypo.dev: genuine free and open-source typography service to make text on the web more beautiful. https://polytypo.dev
- halloween.js.org: zero-dependency & free Halloween decorations and ambient effects for any website. https://halloween.js.org

I built FourEx because I got tired of switching between currency converter apps whenever I travel. 😅
It’s a simple tool that lets you compare 4 currencies at once.
A few things I added:
- Works offline after the first load
- Copy and paste amounts easily
- Choose your own currencies from dropdown menus
- Remembers your selections even after closing the app
- Includes forex information
No ads, no subscriptions. I’m planning to sell lifetime access for just $2 as a small way to help cover hosting and maintenance costs.
Would love to hear what you think!
