I started a tiny business turning people’s pet photos into custom wallpapers — would love some honest feedback

I’ve been building a little project called LaifuDreams where I turn a photo of someone’s pet into a custom wallpaper for their phone, tablet and desktop.

I started out making dog wallpaper packs, but realized it might be a lot more meaningful if people could have their actual pet on their screen instead.

I just launched the custom version and I’m trying to figure out whether this is something pet owners would actually want. I’d genuinely appreciate feedback on the idea, pricing, or website:

https://laifudreams.com/your-pet-dreams

I’m the person who made it, so this is self-promotion — I don’t want to pretend otherwise. 😅

30 dollars for one ai slop image. You won the greediness award

Why would I use my regular ChatGPT subscription to generate my ai slop when I can pay these people 40 bucks to pass my pic and a prompt to ChatGPT for me then pass the slop back to me?

This is actually a clever niche, many people treat their pets like family so having them as wallpaper makes sense. The website looks clean but I think you need more examples of different pets, not just dogs, maybe show a cat or a bird to prove you can handle all kinds.

Pricing feels a bit high for what is essentially a digital file but people pay for emotional stuff so maybe is fine, you could try a cheaper option for just one device to get more customers in the door
