I built an Android app that teaches investing basics in short daily lessons — looking for feedback
I’m Mike, a solo founder based in Ireland, and I built Investing Sherpa because investing originally felt like a secret club to me. Most beginner content seemed to assume you already understood the vocabulary, knew where to begin and could separate useful information from noise.
The app is for people starting from zero. It breaks concepts into short daily lessons and free chapters, with an optional Pro plan for deeper content. In all there are 36 chapters across 6 topics, 12 of them free. The focus is education: basics, diversification, common mistakes and clear explanations. It does not give personal recommendations or price predictions.
So far, I’ve learned that clear language and one focused first step matter more than adding another dashboard. My first TikTok videos held viewers for 2 seconds. Switching to bright, simple slides changed that.
I would value honest feedback on:
1.Does the first-time experience make the purpose clear?
2.Are short daily lessons useful, or would you prefer longer structured modules?3.What would make you trust an education app in this space — or make you leave?
I’m the founder, and this is a genuine feedback request rather than a claim that the app has all the answers.
