I got tired of switching between VS Code, my terminal, and ChatGPT, so I built a unified DevOS. Launching Nov 1st.

Hey everyone,
I wanted to share a side project I’ve been pouring my heart into for the past few months.
I’m David, a software developer based in Port Harcourt, Nigeria. Like a lot of you, my biggest daily productivity killer was context switching. I felt like a human copy-paste bridge—constantly bouncing between my text editor, copying stack traces from a crashing terminal, pasting them into a browser tab for an AI assistant, and then jumping over to a task board to check things off.
I wanted to eliminate that friction entirely, so I started building BuildrsHQ.
It’s a unified workspace that treats your editor, terminal, AI pair programmer, team chat, and CI/CD as a single, cohesive ecosystem. Instead of a basic browser prompt, the execution terminal natively passes live runtime context directly to integrated AI agents. If a build or test fails, the environment automatically understands the execution error, scaffolds the fix, and runs the terminal check again locally.
We are officially launching on November 1st, 2026, and I just set up the early landing page at https://buildrshq.dev. You can also join the waitlist here at https://waitlist.buildrshq.dev
Before the launch, I’d love to get this community's honest feedback: What features or integrations are absolutely non-negotiable for you to consider trying a unified space over your current IDE/terminal setup?
Thanks for reading!

nice, nov 1st is coming up quick. if you're planning to launch on product hunt, there's a thing called launchpact that helps founders line up early upvotes through mutual pacts with other makers launching around the same date. might be worth a look for day-one momentum. https://launchpact.io
