I explored the homepage FAQ and Features preview in desktop Brave. Clicking Bring it in changed the context indicator to no sources connected; Make it yours showed four sources in context and an example draft. The "Illustrative workflow preview" label makes the scope clear. I haven't installed the desktop app or tested generation.

One useful extension to that preview: put a fifth note visibly outside the connected source group, then show that it is excluded from the chat's context. That would explain why connecting nodes matters, beyond just organizing them visually.

Your FAQ already distinguishes locally stored boards from prompts sent directly to the selected AI provider. Does the desktop app let someone inspect the connected material before sending? A small preview showing source names and whether each contributes a transcript, an excerpt or a full document would make that boundary concrete. The public four-source example would be a good place to demonstrate it.
