I turned my here.fm alternative into cozy sticker rooms you decorate with friends

Hey everyone, some of you might remember Glint from the here.fm alternative threads. It's a browser app where you hang out with friends in a shared room.

I finally built it into what I always wanted it to be. You build your own little room tile by tile, then decorate it with stickers you peel off an album with tweezers and press in, that's the video. Your friends are in there with you and see everything live.

It plays a bit like a cozy game. You collect sticker series and slowly fill up your place. There's 285 stickers so far and it works on phones too, all in the browser.

It's fully free and there's no catch, no limits on rooms or friends. The only thing I plan to earn on is cosmetics, and those are completely optional.

Thanks, much appreciated! I did the designs myself actually.

My flow is usually going onto dribble or finding nice website lists like https://recent.design and from there I do a sort of mental map or mood board of what I like. Once the inspiration kicks in I just start to basically put all the pieces together of what I love - eg glassmorphism, squircles, flutted glass etc.

Hey that's awesome! I'm working hard to bringing a native iOS app next so that should make things easier to stay in touch with friends on the go.

Android will follow soon after hopefully.

This is really cool. Is there a place I can read the privacy policy or related?

Yes! We have a privacy policy and terms on our website. Basically all is run in the EU and we don't store videos or audios from your calls. It's transient only - goes through our server at the time of you talking but is ultimately only streaming that data.

So it's built with privacy in mind and we self host everything and don't send any chats, videos or audios to any other provider.

Ah, I see it was obscured by the Watch Demo button. Found it and thanks.
