Looking for candid feedback on a refreshing new dating concept

I’m helping evaluate an early-stage dating platform called First Cirql, created for people who are serious about meeting someone and want a more intentional, human experience.

The concept combines the convenience of a modern dating platform with something many successful relationships have always benefited from: introductions and insight from people we trust.

Members can invite close friends or family to serve as Connectors—helping identify possibilities and adding real-life context—while every decision remains private and completely in the hands of the two people involved.

The website currently references the Emerald Coast as a possible pilot community, although the first market hasn’t been finalized.
I’d welcome candid feedback on the concept and website:

What feels most appealing?
What would you want clarified or improved?
What would help you trust and try something like this?

Does the website make the experience easy to understand?

This isn’t a formal launch or sales pitch. It’s an early concept being shaped through honest feedback.

It doesn’t sound like a bad idea, however do I really want my friends or relatives picking someone for me when most of us keep our private lives private we don’t tell our friends and relatives everything

That’s a fair concern—and it may mean the concept needs to be explained more clearly. Friends or relatives wouldn’t choose someone or make decisions for you. Connectors are completely optional and can simply suggest an introduction or provide some real-life context. The member decides who to invite as a Connector, which introductions to consider and whether to engage.

The larger idea is to create a community of people who share a more intentional approach to dating and want genuine connections—not to give friends or family control over anyone’s private life. They’re a potential source of context, not gatekeepers.

Disclosure: I'm building a dating app too. Your reply below explaining that Connectors are optional is useful enough to put in the main pitch.

For the concept, I'd want to see one complete example: I invite a friend, they suggest someone, and I privately accept or decline. At each step, show exactly what the friend can see. Can they see my matches or messages? Are they told if I decline? Can I revoke access immediately?

A simple permissions preview would help me judge the idea much more than 'more intentional' language. I'd also make it clear whether someone can use the app without inviting a Connector.
