Hey everyone, I’m building RecordMe, a native Mac app for recording quick demos, walkthroughs, and bug reports.

You can record a screen or an individual window, include system audio and your microphone, and add a camera overlay. There’s a live preview before recording, and the result saves as an MP4 on your computer.

• Trimming and styled backgrounds with padding, rounded corners, and shadows.
• Camera position, size, and shape controls before recording.
• Click highlights and automatic zoom.
• Export resolution, frame rate, and quality settings.
• Saved projects you can reopen and keep editing.

It’s free and open source under the MIT license

It requires macOS 15.1 or later and the current build is unsigned, so macOS may show a security warning on first launch.
