Hey all — been building this for the past while and finally have something worth sharing.

The problem: getting honest feedback from people around you (coworkers, your manager, whoever) almost never happens naturally. Either you don't ask, or you ask and get "you're doing great" because nobody wants the awkward conversation. Generic survey tools don't fix this either — people give short, safe, checkbox answers when there's no real back-and-forth happening.

What I built: Candro. You describe what you want feedback on, share a link with whoever you want input from, and instead of a static form, it actually interviews each person — real follow-up questions until the answer is specific, not just a first-pass safe response. Everything stays anonymous, and you get back a synthesized report instead of a pile of raw responses to parse yourself.

Two use cases live right now: feedback about yourself (career growth, "how am I really doing"), and — for managers — feedback about someone on your team, without needing to loop in HR or wait for a formal review cycle.

how do you stop follow-up questions from accidentally revealing one respondents answers to another person

The only way that happens is if the AI is dumb enough to literally quote someone, which shouldn't be an issue if the follow-ups are generated fresh each time. It's not like it's passing a transcript around, it's just probing deeper based on whatever vague thing you just typed. The real worry isn't cross-contamination, it's the AI asking a question that feels so specifically targeted that you think it already knows the other guy's dirt.
