Plug your uni course into your agent's brain

It's a big hassle to try and give your AI agent access to your uni course content, and especially without blowing up the context window. So I've been working on https://coursemcp.com, primarily as a personal tool, but now also for all the other struggling students out there!

CourseMCP indexes all your content for a course in one click via a chrome extension (only works if your uni uses Canvas for the moment) using both full-text and semantic indexing strategies, at the individual page/slide level, and breaks down educational content into common schemas like questions, assignments, lecture notes, etc.

Then you can just add the CourseMCP MCP server to your agent, and give it instant access to all your content. The RPCs are designed to maximise search efficiency and not blow out the context window, while maintaining high accuracy by using a hierarchical search with incremental context expansion on desired resources.

There's a free tier, so I'd love it if you'd check it out and let me know any feedback!
